The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get around. The mountain and city views are beautiful, and the air is fresh. The bedding in the room is good, clean, and hygienic. It's definitely a hotel with great value for money in the area. This hotel has always been my top choice when I visit my hometown.

Great location, helpful staff, room smelled smoky so I was upgraded for a small fee. Quiet location.

Haowangjiao Hotel is a quaint hotel in the heart of Gutian. Gutian being a small town is known for Cuiping Lake and Lingshui Gong, all a short drive away from the hotel. We stayed as we visited relatives and ancestral homes there and the location made it extremely easy to meet up. There is also a spa in the hotel which was relatively good (3½/5), however the only lousy thing is the breakfast. It is exactly the same everyday except for its 2 vegetable dishes. The food is also laden with oil, unfortunately.

Great location! However, the hotel was fully booked over the weekend, so I ended up with a room on the side which, I assume, was near an air conditioning unit because it was quite noisy.

Facilities: Well-equipped, but a bit dated. Environment: Dry, bright, and comfortable. Service: Attentive.

Value for money. Breakfast was very good with lots of varities.

Been here ten years ago 😆, but although is old of age, everything seems fine, except the front desk, asked for more drinking water, replied with “you know, it’s cost rmb3 per bottle”. As I been to so many hotels in different countries even in China, when asking for more drinking water, will be so kind to give instead of this attitude 😅. And the intercom in the room, never can get through to any department, including the housekeeping and front desk. Hope the hotel can improve in this. Other than that, the housekeeper is very generous and the room is well kept.

Our room was located at the north block, everything is good, juz tat there was smoke smell at the lift lobby. Was raining during tat time and they allowed us to borrow their umbrella.

Good location to the old city and easy to look for local food, but the hotel had already removed the sauna service.

Breakfast is good. Asian breakfast. Reception is helpful. Overall, my stay there is satisfactory. Amenities around are more of the old generation.

This hotel is a gem! The location is unbeatable – right in the heart of everything. And for the price, you can't find a better deal. Clean, comfortable, and convenient – highly recommend!

I've always stay here whenever in Gutian. Breakfast was good compared to others in the area.
