I stayed at Jeonnam University Hospital for business trip! The location was also a 10-minute walk and the boss was kind! There were documents I needed, but the front desk helped me print them. It was so good to check out until 12 o'clock! I will use it often when I travel to Jeollanam-dae Hospital!
Gwangju Ikkeullim Business Hotel

Located near the crossroads of the main entrance of Quannan University, it is also very close to Gwangju Railway Station. There is a bus stop across the road at the entrance of the hotel. It is also very convenient to take the bus. At night, after dark, there are street lights around the hotel, which is very safe. The proprietress is really very good, because she is a foreigner, the proprietress has no attitude of not being bored, and she speaks to me patiently. The room is equipped with two computers, and there are several popular Korean online games in the computer. The bathroom is designed for dry and wet separation, which is really good. The refrigerator is equipped with two bottles of mineral water per day. After check-out, if there is something wrong, you can also store your luggage at the front desk for free. ________________ According to housing requirements, if guests staying for more than two nights stay in the room between '12 noon and 5 pm', they need to pay an extra 20,000 won. Sleep for one night, before 12 noon the next day, you will have to return the 'room card' to the front desk of the lobby, and take the room card again after 5 pm. This will eliminate the additional cost of 20,000 won.

The boss will speak Chinese and help us. The Korean won is not enough to lend us.

I went small trip and stayed hotel myself. The hotel looks bit old but fine location. It was bit noisy, still okay in the middle of the city. However, cleanliness was poor because I saw short hair everyday that wasn't mine and I was smelled terribly weird thing when I turned on the air-condition.

This hotel was booked in haste for a business trip. It is a very neat hotel located in the Sangmu district of Gwangju's new city center. The price including breakfast was okay... Above all, the bed was so comfortable that I almost passed out and had a good night's sleep. ^_^
Palace Hotel Gwangju

This was great for a short stay. The hotel was in a perfect location to explore downtown Gwangju and even though it was on a busy pedestrian street, I had no issues with noise. The room itself was spacious and clean. The decor was a little dated but for the price I think it was great value for money and would stay here again.
