The best accidental find! Room was spacious, super clean and had a beautiful view! Situated in a lovely quiet village with a fresh bakery, tapas restaurant and a few little shops. Breakfast was really lovely. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Some amazing walks close by and my personal favourite a Starbucks only a mile down the road. Would highly recommended! We will definitely be returning. Thank you!

A lovely hotel with a warm, professional welcome. The breakfast and dinner were delicious and of course there's a perfect pint of Robinson's. The room was warm, the bed was very comfortable and the only sound was the birds in the morning. It's a lovely place to stay.

Stopped here recently when working in Dolgellau. The staff have all been very welcoming, helpful and professional. My room was comfortable and had everything needed for the 4 nights I stayed. The food in the restaurant was good with a varied menu, lots of options to choose from. I had the steak which was delicious and cooked perfectly and I had a burger which was great. The bar has a good choice of drinks, I enjoyed some of their ales. My favourite part was the full breakfast, served in large breakfast/dining room. If I stay in Dolgellau again I wouldn’t hesitate to choose the Royal Ship Inn.

Quite expensive - we stayed in a twin ensuite £200 one night for that price I presumed there would be a fridge in the room there was space however no fridge. I've stayed in five star hotels in London cheaper than this however my family were staying here and I got a lift with them so this is why I booked I was expecting five star.. The room was nice and was very big as was the bathroom. Although for this price I again was surprised to find scuff marks on all the walls (room111) for such an expensive room it really was unexpected . I would suggest management take the room out of service so the decor can be dealt with. On a plus note the staff were very nice and accommodating

Stayed here for the Sesiwn Fawr festival. We come back every year. Love this place, so convenient to all amenities. Rooms are spotlessly clean, breakfast beautiful, all staff are lovely and friendly. Love sitting outside on a sunny day watching the world go by with beautiful views of Cader Idris. Highly recommend this place. John is just the best

Just got back from a five day break in .Dolgellau, N.Wales where we stayed at the Royal Ship Hotel. So pleased with our choice. There was nothing I could find fault with the hotel. Spotlessly clean, accomodation really lovely and staff and management so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning again. Thankyou all at the Royal Ship for making our holiday so special.

Ate lunch here, the soup was lovely and tasted homemade, but the prawn sandwich and salad was tasteless. I really don’t know haw the prawns could taste if nothing,

We stayed at this hotel last weekend and it was a fantastic stay. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of options, and the food overall was delicious. One big plus for me was the lockable car park, which is a huge advantage if you're traveling by motorbike. Our bikes were safe and secure throughout the stay. Highly recommended!

Absolutely lovely hotel. So comfortable and clean. Food is amazing. Just need more electric sockets in the room. Staff are lovely and very helpful.
