Good motel style hotel room, although rather dated and worn so not quite as nice as in the pictures! Staff were friendly and helpful and the food in the on site bar/restaurant nice

The Queen rooms seem to offer more than the King rooms for some reason. But generally the place was pleasant to stay.

Very nice hotel. Seagulls come in the evening. I really miss the feeling of feeding the seagulls there. The hotel is very clean and convenient. The car can be parked at the door. It is very convenient to pick up the luggage. I will come here next time

The hotel is located in the small town of Haast, 120 kilometers west of Fox Glacier. It is suitable for staying one night on the way to Fox Glacier or coming out of Fox Glacier. The room is very comfortable and parking is available outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. Breakfast is a classic Western breakfast with not many choices but the taste is okay. If you want to go out to eat, you need to go to the town center 3 kilometers away. There are no commercial facilities within the walking circle around the hotel.

This area is quite desolate. Although it is adjacent to the river mouth and there is a gas station nearby, it closed very early and you need to refuel yourself. There are quite a lot of hotel rooms, and the entrance can be through the door or the sliding French window (the hotel will give you two keys to create two entrances). The front desk also serves as a waiter in the cafe and restaurant, so you may have to wait for check-in during meals. The room I booked has three bedrooms but only one bathroom, which is a bit cramped.

The bed is very small, the key is that the front desk is not 24 hours. So arrive early

Very good hotel, good facilities, big beds, hotel restaurant has a rustic feel, the food and beer are very good, the environment is nothing to say, very good, I like it very much, the service is also very good, very warm, the breakfast variety is a bit lacking , but enough to eat and satisfy!

This property had a smell about it that i didn't like, maybe its age. It was clean and quiet though. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

Friendly staff, lovely meal in the restaurant and room was warm on a very cold night. Comfortable bed and good size room

No toaster, plates, cutlery or fridge in room. It felt like I was left with no option but to use on site restaurant. This hotel is in a remote area and this lack of usual amenities seems cynical.

Our king room was clean and quiet. Housekeeping and wait staff were very friendly. We ate our evening meal at the restaurant. The food was tasty and priced reasonably

Quiet unit. Tired decor. Old, very soft beds that made me feel like I was going to roll out. The attached restaurant had great food. Difficult to get staff attention at front reception .
