If you like to sleep in peace past 7am this is not the place for you. Very mid. Expensive for the super small room size. No fan in the bathroom and 0 space to do anything in the room except sleep. No fridge and there is nowhere for luggage but they tell you no luggage on the beds like... how do you unpack? Super loud in the building (we were not on the new side) and they are an active construction zone so first thing (7am) there were people yelling, sawing, and hammering. You can hear neighbors through the wall and every door SLAMS shut. There were no toiletries except soap from a wall mounted dispenser. The room was clean. The bedding was clean and comfortable and the staff were mostly polite. Breakfast was mid. The drink machine broke often and the juice was very watered down. The location was close to lots of things with lots of parking nearby. I wouldnt stay here again and I'm sure thats a common sentiment, not that it matters in a touristy area like this (which explains a lot).

friendly staff，the sauna and hot tub were clean and nice。。。。our room was perfect， but if you are picky with drinking water， bring your own to the room。the water from the tab is drinkable， but has a lot of sulfur in it and smells this way。 the breakfast was very good， different coffee， waffles， bread， porridge，fruits，。。。。

This restaurant has a free buffet breakfast. The hotel is a 20-minute drive from the center of the capital Reykjavik. It is surrounded by a residential area with small lakes and churches, suitable for walks. There are two types of rooms in this hotel. One is in the same building as the reception desk, and the other is an independent cabin opposite. The cabin has two floors. The first floor has a bed and a bunk bed, and the second floor has two beds, which can sleep up to 5 people. But the stairs to the second floor are very narrow. There is a bathroom on the first floor. The sewer in our room was blocked. The next day, we notified the front desk to repair it, but they didn't come. Later, we couldn't take a shower, so the hotel arranged another room for us to use the bathroom in that room. The hotel's sauna room has no bathroom or changing room. The sauna room is for mixed use by men and women. Some guests chose to be naked, so we did not go in.

We had an enjoyable 3-night stay at Hotel Viking. The location is in the mid-way between the airport and the city center. The room is clean and the breakfast is delicious. The only thing not perfect is the room is a little bit small. We will stay again in future.

The room and bathroom are very small, and the luggage can hardly be accommodated. However, it has a historical and cultural background and you can experience the Viking home. There are many group travelers, so book early.

An experience worth it! In addition to having a very Viking atmosphere, the breakfast serves well and having the bar next door also makes the cold milder, as you can go out for dinner 10 steps away from the hotel! We loved our stay!

Nice hotel. Very stylish exterior. The hotel is very conveniently located on the way from Keflavik Airport to Reykjavik. We stayed the day we arrived in Iceland and the last two days after traveling around the island before returning home. Good breakfast. It is very important that there is a restaurant that is open from 18:00 to 22:00, because in Iceland finding food after 17:00 is another challenge... Free parking. There is a supermarket nearby (500 meters on foot). The Airport-Reykjavik bus stop is also near the hotel (50 meters) for those who do not rent a car. Highly recommend if you are happy with the price of this hotel when booking! On the downside, the tap water smells like sulfur, but this is Iceland - a country of geothermal springs!)) P.S. the hotel has a free swimming pool with geothermal warm water + sauna for visitors. They work until 22:00.
