Hagi No Mikuriya Takadai
8.5 (8 reviews)

Hagi No Mikuriya Takadai ★★★

📍 Karahimachi, 80−80, Hagi

"The Japanese-style room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly. The bath was also comfortable. It was very conveniently located near the bus center. I'm grateful that they were happy to store my luggage for me."

📍 385-8 Chinto, Hagi

"The staff were incredibly polite, and I had a very pleasant stay. Furthermore, when I requested a massage, they performed it very carefully. The massage level was exceptional, and I would definitely like to go back for another one. It's far away, so I don't know when I'll be able to go again, but if I have the opportunity to visit Hagi, I would definitely like to go."

Peace Inn Hagi
8.4 (31 reviews)

Peace Inn Hagi ★★★

📍 18-20 Esaki, Hagi

"It's neither good nor bad, but the sound of the toilet flushing was so loud it woke me up in the middle of the night! 😆 It was quite startling. The springs in the bed mattress seem a bit old; they were pressing against the base underneath, which was painful."

Hagi No Yado Tomoe
9.4 (33 reviews)

Hagi No Yado Tomoe ★★★★

📍 608-53 Hijiwara, Hagi

"We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Hagi no Yado Tomoe. Outstanding from start to finish. Delicious meals (breakfast and dinner) on both days, comfortable futons in spacious and well-appointed rooms, the most friendly and efficient service (sincere thanks to Takashi-san, our ‘butler’, but also to the entire team) and ideally located in walking distance to all Hagi’s most interesting sights. I can’t recommend Hagi no Yado Tomeo highly enough."

Hagi Kanko Hotel
8.8 (37 reviews)

Hagi Kanko Hotel ★★★

📍 1189-541 Chinto, Hagi

"You can see Hagi Bay from Mt. Kasayama. The view from the open-air bath is also great. The building looks old, but it has been renovated and is generally clean."

Hagi Ichirin
9.1 (18 reviews)

Hagi Ichirin ★★★

📍 482-2 Horiuchi, Hagi

"There was a coffee server and draft beer server for welcome drinks, and it was all-you-can-drink. The reception staff were also very friendly, and it seemed like a good trip. However... There was one woman, perhaps a female waiter or a guest guide? She didn't say hello when we passed each other in the hallway. She walked with her head down. It seemed like they hadn't trained them in how to entertain guests. Facilities... The hot spring and private bath were good. There are many old parts."

📍 28-2 Higashitamachi, Hagi

"It was fun enough to want to stay a little more slowly!"

Yukei No Yado Umi No Yurikago Hagikomachi

Yukei No Yado Umi No Yurikago Hagikomachi ★★★★

📍 6509 Chinto, Hagi

"The food was delicious and I would love to come back again! I think it's a great inn! If you're considering staying here, I highly recommend it and you won't regret it!"

Resort Hotel Mihagi
8.5 (55 reviews)

Resort Hotel Mihagi ★★★

📍 485 Kikugahama, Horiuchi, Hagi

"The hotel was lovely, clean, spacious and had a great view from our ocean-facing room. It was within walking distance of Hagi castle town so the location was great. I didn't book a room with meals included in the evening so the front desk staff were very kind and introduced me to lots of delicious restaurants. The bath was also spacious and clean. I took a bath in the open-air bath early in the morning so it was a little cold, but it felt really good. I was surprised at how much breakfast there was, so I couldn't finish it. It was delicious and I was very satisfied, and I'd like to visit this inn again. Thank you for your hospitality."

"First of all, when I checked in, the two guys at the counter could have been a bit friendlier... They might say this is normal, but the hotel front desk is the representative of the hotel (the face of the hotel)... normal isn't good enough... a straight face isn't good enough! In the customer service industry, a smile is the basis, even if it's fake! It was a disappointing feeling as soon as I arrived... Make sure you smile and laugh! Also, the lighting in the guest rooms is too dim... When I put on makeup in the morning, the light above the sink is too far from the mirror, and it gets even dimmer when I get closer to it... I'm not saying they should install a light for actresses (lol), but I wonder if they could make it a little brighter... Also, the trash can is too small. Also, regarding the souvenir shop's opening hours, if the check-out time is 10:00, shouldn't the shop's opening hours be 10:30 instead of 10:00? Even if I want to buy something on my way out, if it's displayed like that, I'll assume it's closed and I can't buy it... I'll just give up and buy it somewhere else... I think that would change sales... Also, regarding the drink vending machine in front of it, apparently they gave me milk even though I bought a cafe au lait in a carton... When I told them about it, they apologized, but then they seemed to be asking what I should do, so I just said "it's okay" and left it at that. But isn't it the customer service industry to act quickly and say, "We'll give you the real thing, so please wait a moment.""

"I was a little worried because I didn't have enough information about the hotel when I made the reservation. The facilities were old, but I was satisfied because the cleanliness of the room was really top-notch. I was a little worried because it was Golden Week, but I had a nice time with my daughter in a quiet place with few people."

"I visited by rental car. The large public bath was in excellent condition, and the facilities were satisfactory for their size. I would definitely visit again. It's an older building, but the Japanese ambiance and especially the breakfast were impressive. I will definitely visit Hagi again."
