"had issues with the room & electricity power shut down twice when i was in the toilet. This was frustrating especially after a long day of travel! We couldn’t charge our phones or use hairdryers as it might trip the power. Showers had low pressure & little heat so be prepared. I found that the pillowcase and towel were had stains on it. Owner is nice but as a bed and breakfast spot cleanliness should be maintained."

"The pictures, services and hospitality of this property online on trip.com doesn’t say much of the reality and lovely experiences during our stay at the property. - The Environment was very conducive and Homely - The staffs were very friendly and helpful with us and our baby - Back of the property is nature itself, full nature and free to watch! We had great time staying at the property and would definitely visit anytime we are around. - The manager of the property hosted us to lots fun."

"I was fortunate to stay at House of West Kili during a cycling tour around the Kilimanjaro area. We were warmly welcomed and give a nice orientation of the facilities. The grounds were immaculate and well groomed. The lodge rooms are huge, super clean and the plumbing was all working well. I felt like a VIP. The meals were excellent as we had dinner and breakfast before heading off. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a really nice place to stay. It was an absolute treat to stay at."

"Stayed here before and after climbing Kilimanjaro. The staff is extremely helpful and they offer great service. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and have great AC. All beds have mosquito nets (although I have not seen any mosquitos). The on site restaurant offers a great selection of dishes; I have eaten there 5 times and all dishes were delicious. The hotel is attached to and all proceeds support a middle school. I highly recommend a stay here."
