Weruweru River Lodge
"Great hotel with nice garden and pool and very friendly staff. Rooms are large enough to sort out the stuff we need to take to climb Kilimanjaro. They keep your luggage until you return. The only negative is that they let outside people come enjoy the pool or rent the space for weddings. Can be disturbing but you can also see it positively, great local vibe"
Le Parlour
"The boss can do it, it's very clean."
Boloti Camp Resort
Kia Lodge
"Extremely Disappointing Stay – Poor Service and No Accountability ★☆☆☆☆ Kia Lodge was a major letdown. Despite advertising an airport shuttle, there’s no publicly listed phone number to reach them, so it’s impossible to coordinate. I was lucky airport staff (thank you, Tanzania Air!) helped me get there, but when I explained the issue to the front desk, I was told it was my fault for calling “the wrong number.” The number I used was the only one listed online. Their excuse? “We have a real website”—which doesn’t even load. Totally unhelpful. When I finally checked in, my unit had no power, and it stayed that way all night. It wasn’t a power outage—it was just my room—and there was no concern or assistance from staff. To top it off, the bed was so hard that sleeping on the airport floor would have been more comfortable. Between the total lack of communication, indifference to basic issues, and uncomfortable accommodations, I would never stay here again."
Stella Maris Lodge
"Stayed here before and after climbing Kilimanjaro. The staff is extremely helpful and they offer great service. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and have great AC. All beds have mosquito nets (although I have not seen any mosquitos). The on site restaurant offers a great selection of dishes; I have eaten there 5 times and all dishes were delicious. The hotel is attached to and all proceeds support a middle school. I highly recommend a stay here."
Aishi Machame
"During our trip we stayed in 4 different hotels in Moshi and Aishi was the best one!It wins in every way:cleanliness, food, rooms, staff and territory.Aishi is in a really good spot, far away from all the roads, so nobody will bother you during your stay except maybe monkeys jumping on the roof haha. But honestly we’re the guests there, so you just gotta deal with it. If you’re still thinking about it , go for Aishi, you’ll be super happy with your choice. The hotel service is really high level."
Kaliwa Lodge
"One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. The nature is extraordinary, and the hotel is built to maximize access to this surrounding beauty. Everyone on the staff is genuinely friendly, accommodating, and kind. This is a wonderful place to access Mount Kilimanjaro, and the surrounding area in Moshi."
Airport Planet Lodge
"Very suitable for transit, the service is very good and the food is delicious"
Kindo Kicha Farmhouse
"The pictures, services and hospitality of this property online on trip.com doesn’t say much of the reality and lovely experiences during our stay at the property. - The Environment was very conducive and Homely - The staffs were very friendly and helpful with us and our baby - Back of the property is nature itself, full nature and free to watch! We had great time staying at the property and would definitely visit anytime we are around. - The manager of the property hosted us to lots fun."
