Madison Hotel Haikou Qilou Old Street

The hotel is located in a lively downtown area, right next to People's Park. It's about a ten-minute walk to the Qilou Old Street tourist area, which gets very bustling in the evenings. The room was quite clean, meeting the standard for a chain hotel, and breakfast was good.

After staying at two hotels in Haikou this trip, I'm even more impressed with Meilun. First, let's talk about the location. It's very close to Qilou Old Street, within walking distance, and right next to People's Park. You can walk through the park to get to the old street. The hotel is located in Longquan Courtyard, offering a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle. You don't even have to leave the courtyard to enjoy a lot of great food, like Longquan Coconut Chicken and Xingfu Lou Laoba Tea, both local institutions. And if you cross the park, you'll find Pengji Qingbuliang and Gongjiwan Qingbuliang. The hotel facilities are also top-notch. There's a coffee shop and a kids' play area on the first floor, so parents with children don't need to leave the hotel to entertain their little ones. The breakfast on the 11th floor offers a wide variety, even braised prawns! Plus, there's a different Hainanese specialty every day. The hotel chef's chili fried pork is also delicious. The staff's service is exceptional; anything you need is delivered immediately, and there were even welcome fruits. Our room faced the park, so it was very quiet at night, and the bedding was comfortable – my parents slept soundly. The family room was very spacious. I'll definitely choose to stay here again when I come to Haikou. Brand-name chain hotels really do provide peace of mind.

The room size was perfect for one person, and having a laundry room was a huge plus. The location is very convenient with many dining options nearby. The TV is massive, the shower pressure is great, and the pillows are super comfortable.
