Haikou Marriott Hotel

Came to Haikou with my child and stayed at the Marriott. It's very close to the duty-free shop, making transportation quite convenient. I'm very grateful to Nia for helping us upgrade to a high-floor sea-view room; the view is expansive. The hotel lobby is very tall with a Tang Dynasty architectural style. To get to the beach, you need to exit the hotel and turn left, or you can go directly from the pool. The breakfast selection is rich, and the service is quite good.

The environment is fantastic, and the service is excellent. They even have a WeChat butler! The bed is super comfortable, and the breakfast is rich, varied, and delicious. During the AFC Asian Cup, the management was top-notch, allowing the athletes to get excellent rest.

The service at Marriott hotels is exceptional, and this particular Marriott offers an incredibly rich and diverse range of family-friendly activities. It's truly the perfect choice for parents who want to relax while their kids have a blast. Our stay with the kids at the Haikou Marriott Hotel was fantastic, completely exceeding our expectations! The hotel is steeped in beautiful Chinese aesthetics, with vermilion pillars complementing green-tiled eaves, and a charming, well-designed Chinese garden. Inside the guest rooms, Chinese furniture blends seamlessly with Oriental design, making you feel as though you're strolling through an elegant Jiangnan courtyard – the atmosphere is absolutely immersive. Our butler, Tina, was incredibly responsible throughout our stay. From guiding us through check-in and booking kids' activities to answering our inquiries, she was patient, meticulous, and always ready to help – truly thoughtful service. The parent-child activities are abundant; the indoor kids' club and the children's pool with a slide are great fun, and there are also craft sessions and bubble shows. Our kids didn't want to leave! The breakfast buffet is also super generous, featuring Chinese pastries, Hainanese specialty Hou'an rice noodle soup, Western dishes, and fresh fruits. The ingredients are fresh, and the taste is excellent, satisfying both adults and children. It's definitely a top choice for family travel!

The hotel's location right by the sea is fantastic 🏖️, and it was really convenient to take a taxi to Wuyuanhe Stadium for New Year's Eve. The staff were attentive and responsible, the facilities were excellent, and the hotel's dining options were extensive. Definitely deserves a five-star rating! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Haha, as a local from Haikou, I skipped my comfy bed at home just to stay three nights in a row at the Marriott! I have to give a special shoutout to my amazing butler, Michelle. She proactively contacted me the day before check-in to confirm my needs, replied instantly to all my messages, and even thoughtfully helped me arrange a late checkout. Her service was truly exceptional! The front desk staff was super enthusiastic, and the concierge guys were really sweet too. My overall experience was fantastic! My only regret is that I slept so soundly that I missed breakfast all three days and didn't get a chance to explore the public areas. Next time I'm back in Haikou, I definitely have to stay at the Marriott again!
