We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Cat Ba. The location is excellent, with everything we needed nearby, including local restaurants, familiar food options, shops, and other conveniences. The beach is around a 20-minute walk away, which was perfectly manageable for us.
When we first arrived, the room unfortunately had a moldy smell and was not very clean. We mentioned this to the staff the next day and explained the issue. After we went out, we came back to find that the room had been properly cleaned, and after that, the room was cleaned regularly every day. We really appreciated how quickly they responded to our feedback.
The lady who helped us was especially kind and friendly. She helped us arrange our bus from Cat Ba to Ha Long, gave us information about tours and transportation, and was always willing to help whenever we needed something.
Overall, the hotel is a very convenient place to stay in Cat Ba, especially if you want to be close to restaurants, shops, and the main areas without spending a lot on transportation. The initial cleanliness issue was disappointing, but the staff listened and made a genuine effort to improve it. We appreciated their friendliness and helpfulness throughout our stay.
