Clean. The room has toiletries and a kettle. You can get drinking water in the kitchen. Beautiful surroundings and fresh air. Mountains, birds, butterflies. Two large windows with a great view! The hosts are friendly and speak English. There's a cafe right in the hotel with a decent selection of dishes and reasonable prices. You can book excursions and transfers to get to the city. You can also rent a bike. Be aware that taxi apps don't work on the island, so you'll either need to rent a bike or book a taxi through hotels or hail one on the street. The hotel is quite far from everything. The only major downside is the poor soundproofing in the rooms; you can hear all your neighbors very clearly.

Nice HomeStay in the mountains. The facilities were good and the owners hired us scooters and arrange for our transportation from Hanoi to Cat Ba. They had some books, cards and board games available. The tables around the pool were nice to have food or a drink around. The location is out of town, so not as many food options available but the homestay offers okay food - the banana pancakes were nice. The room was spacious, cold aircon and hot water with a little balcony which was nice. It was excellent value for money and very easy to get to the nation park and caves from on a scooter ☺️ If you book any day tours, they will pick you up from the hotel too. The boat tour was enjoyable - we booked through GetYourGuide, but the homestay also offers tours as well.

The room was great and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel was a great base for our week, offering buses to other parts of Vietnam, day trips, washing service, and really good food! Would recommend to anyone wanting to make the most of Cat Ba.

The staff was very nice ans helpful. They can cook you a lot of meals and book all of the activities ad transportation for you. The room was clean and we had two large beds for a really good price.

We really didn't like it at all. The room shown in the pictures was completely different and everything was rundown. We ordered food, and it was absolutely tasteless; the rice was dry, and there were hardly any shrimp in it. The next day, we went to eat at the neighboring hotel where we had stayed before. After 9 PM, you can't even buy water; there's no one at the reception, and all the fridges are locked.
