I stayed at Rose Hotel during one night when I arrived from the airport before going to Cat Ba Island the next day. I was trying to book a cheap hotel room, so I wasn't expecting a fancy room. The room had aircon and a fan, which were nice to face the heat of Vietnam. The bed mattress was a bit hard, but I slept fine. The bedsheets had some stains on them. The overall cleanliness of the room was not good (dust a bit everywhere, marks of footstep on the floor, dusty floor). The hotel provided towels and toilet paper. The bathroom was OK. Someone tried to open my door at 3:30am (which was locked) and woke me up. I wasn't expecting anybody and found it quite scary. There was no peephole to check outside without opening the door. I yelled and the person just left. It could have been just someone trying to enter the wrong room, but still frightening. The sound isolation is also not good, you can hear people talking in the hallway like if the door was wide open. It was okay for one night, but I wouldn't have spent two.

The internet doesn't work. They didn't clean my room. You need to walk up to get to the elevator.

Most positive point is very useful location! This hotel is closely from bus line, and easy to go to drink to somewhere! So cost and performance is very great! And following picture's bar was very good. I recommend this place to go to drink somewhere.

The location is in the town centre and away from the main road, so it is very silent. The room rate is the key reason for me to choose, the service level and tidy is acceptable for this pricing.

Pay attention to the staff at the counter. They have already made the reservation and issued the ticket. When you arrive at the on-site counter, they will say that you have not seen the order and you have to pay once. I persisted for more than 10 seconds. After a few minutes, she said that she had seen the order, but she still had to pay once before she paid. She remained in a stalemate and ignored her, and finally said that she had seen it. But even though everything was written on the order, I still pretended not to want to admit that I always wanted to pay on the spot again. As long as the ticket was issued, I had to insist on not giving in. The other party had no way to succeed. I can only say that the counter staff was like this It feels really bad to want to be ripped off twice I will choose another hotel next time

The male staff who helped us was very kind to us even though we couldn't speak the same language. The room was reasonably priced, but it was quiet at night and we slept well. It was also good that we could use Wi-Fi comfortably.

The sanitary conditions are poor, the service attitude is poor, and the room facilities are old. They are very different from what we saw online. We booked a room online and paid for it. When we checked in, we were asked to pay extra because the room was not available. Retreat, but we had no choice but to admit defeat and pay another 100,000 (VND). We will never stay in this hotel again.
