The food was satisfying, but the hot spring was lukewarm, which was disappointing.

The key location of choosing this large semi-Japanese hotel is the famous Yunokawa hot spring area in Hakodate. First of all, I pointed out that I originally chose Takubokutei because of its reputation and the size of the hotel. However, when I checked in, I saw that the Western-style room I booked was so old and had simple equipment. /The desk, luggage rack, everything is missing, the carpet is dirty, and it is unknown how long it has been used? Even the Japanese-style bathroom is extremely small. I have been traveling in Japan for many years and have been to Hakodate, Hokkaido several times. I have used this Takubokutei as a reference. The name is bigger than the reality and it is completely inconsistent with the pictures shown online. Visitors are advised to think twice and be cautious before talking about the quality of the breakfast. It's too bad. There are not many styles and small portions. The breakfast in a large hotel is very small. The dinner is mainly Japanese style. The only praise is that the quality of the sashimi food is extremely fresh. There are also many choices for the Japanese food. I am satisfied.

It is a specialized hot spring hotel. The room facilities are not new but very clean. There is an open-air hot spring on the roof, which is worth experiencing. The package includes breakfast and dinner, which are all self-service. The food is rich in variety and the ingredients are fresh. After arriving at Hakodate Station, take tram 2 or 5 to Yukawa Onsen, which is easier to find.

We were traveling with our child (1 year old). The food was more delicious than we expected, and they even had curry for kids. However, it was extremely hot in the room. Even when we turned on the air conditioner, only warm air came out, so we turned it off. (It may have gotten colder if we had left it on, but we couldn't stand the heat so we turned it off.) It may not be related, but our child had a nosebleed. Even as an adult, it was so hot that we woke up several times, so we think it was because of the heat.

There was no lock on the shoe locker, so I lost my Gore-Tex shoes because I put them on by mistake and reported it to the police. Apparently there had been a case of mistaken shoes being put on at this hotel before. Also, there were no lockers with locks in the dressing room big enough to hold clothes and luggage. I was very worried.

I stayed here for one night on a collaborative tour between Hankyu Travel International and Noguchi Kanko. It is located in Yunokawa, across the street from a drug store and next to a Lawson. It is a large inn with a hot spring. There is also an open-air bath, which you can use anytime. There were also high school students staying there on a school trip. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet style. They served a variety of Hokkaido specialties, and it was delicious.

1. The curtains in the room are damaged. 2. The room is dirty. 3. The furniture in the room is damaged. 4. The bathroom is not good. 5. The trash cans in the room are not covered with plastic bags. Definitely won't visit again. This is the lowest rating I have ever received among over 200 hotels in Japan.

The price and the content are well balanced, but I think it's somewhere around the middle of the Noguchi Kanko range. [Things I appreciated] 1. My doctor has forbidden me from eating raw food, so they changed the assortment to a thickened bean paste sauce when I added an extra dish for consecutive nights. If they had told the front desk from the beginning, I wouldn't have had to bother the buffet staff. I was helped by a man with glasses who looked like a chief. The taste was okay, but they just quickly put together what they had on hand, but I was happy with their thoughtfulness. 2. There was a large plastic bottle of water, which was helpful for staying hydrated. 3. Although it came with benefits, there were few restrictions on the in-house vouchers, so I was able to buy plenty of souvenirs. 4. There was a proper greeting when leaving the buffet, and the guide was nice, asking if I wanted to take home coffee, even though I don't drink it. [Things I didn't like] 1. There was no questionnaire, so I was given a paper for consecutive nights, even though I didn't have any writing utensils, and I couldn't write a notice for the cleaning staff when they asked me to write it. 2. I wanted the room to be cleaned, so I asked the front desk if I didn't need to put out the paper saying that cleaning was not necessary, but the room was not cleaned and the cups were not changed. The towels and yukata were replaced and left in a bag, so I guess it can't be helped. 3. I wonder if it's the inn's fault or the parents' fault. The child in the next room was screaming every day from 5am and woke me up, which was very unpleasant. I just wanted to sleep. 4. There was a person with a full body tattoo in the large bath. Is it okay for that kind of person, who clearly has different tattoos from foreigners? They're not doing anything to them, though. To be honest, I'm worried. There are no warning signs in the bath, so I think it's OK, but I think it would be uneasy to bring children. 5. The female staff at the evening buffet were busy cleaning up right next to me while I was eating, which made me feel uneasy. I'm sure they're trainees, but I wish they'd at least say something. 6. In general, if the front desk isn't doing a good job, it affects the work of other staff. [Other] Compared to other Noguchi Kanko hotels, the buffet is not very well-designed, probably because of the price. I wish there were more Hokkaido products like Nonokaze from Lake Toya. Also, it was the day after the match of Sota Fujii, so I thought it would have been nice if they had put something on display.

A mother and daughter traveling together, we used a plan that included breakfast and dinner for one night and a massage. As the reputation suggests, there were many types of buffet and I enjoyed it! I especially liked that you could order ramen, steak, and seafood bowls on the spot. The open-air bath on the top floor had a great view and was very comfortable. (It was a cold January day, so it was fairly empty, and it was great that it was sometimes reserved.) I also asked for a massage in the evening, so I was able to sleep soundly. Also, I think it's good to be able to check out before you leave. It gets crowded if you are at the last minute...

Check-in on April 28, 2023. Thank you for the hotel's hospitality. Since Japanese hotels may not store luggage, it is best to email the hotel first and ask for a reply. If OK, store your luggage. You can easily explore the beautiful scenery of Hakodate. Although the hotel is relatively It's old, but has a service center. The view is beautiful. The old-style beds are also very comfortable. The catering is self-service, with 1 hotel room and 2 meals. The food is affordable and rich. The location is convenient, buses and trams are very close. DIY cards are given to the hotel and employees , a little thought. Thank you! Thankyou! Christine Tsang & Polin Tsang HONG KONG.

I think the food was better than expected. In particular, the homemade flavors such as wine-stewed pork, fried salmon, and fried chicken are exquisitely seasoned and fried. The soft serve ice cream is rich, light and very delicious, just like Yamakawa Farm. On the other hand, there was only one slipper for indoor use in a room for two people, and the response from the male room attendant was unfriendly and very bad. There was also no other doorman at first, and he came in the middle of the room, but even though he was there. The guidance is poor, and even if you have a lot of luggage, they won't even bring you a cart, so it feels like a part-time job. They may have been dispatched by a temporary staffing company or a security company, but I can only say that they are disqualified as hotel staff, including room attendants. The restaurant's service is so good that the difference is even more noticeable. Since the price is low, it may be unavoidable.

The front desk is too unfriendly. When I entered my room, there was a piece of crumpled paper in the trash can (it felt like a piece of paper I had blown into my nose, so I didn't check it because it was disgusting). There was a draft coming into the room and it was very cold. It was too late to come and pull the futon. I called the front desk at 6pm and had to wait for an hour. The futon smelled musty, the futon cover was crumpled, and the futon was sitting in the closet where the futon was stored. The duvet cover was crumpled and looked like it hadn't been cleaned. Even though I had to wait a long time to get my futon pulled up, the person who came to pull my futon didn't seem apologetic at all, but instead responded with a bit of anger. I don't know if it's because it's a cheap accommodation plan, but I'd like them to write that in the future, since it's a cheap accommodation plan, various services will be the worst. I have stayed at hotels and inns several times a year in my 40 years of life, but this was the first time I had ever stayed in a hotel or inn that was this bad, so I will never stay there again.
