It is a little far from Hakodate city, but very close to the airport. The facilities may be a little lacking compared to the surrounding ryokans, but the breakfast and dinner more than make up for it. The staff are friendly, and there is a female staff member who speaks Korean well, so there is no inconvenience at all.

The hotel facilities are too old and there is no elevator. You have to change into slippers when you enter the gate. It feels like you have entered a bathhouse. The room looks like a domestic hotel in the 1990s.

The staff at the inn were warm and courteous, and I had a very comfortable stay. Although many rooms are non-smoking, my companion who is a smoker was very happy. In addition, they take good care of the smell that lingers in the room, so I think you can have a comfortable stay. The most important thing is the hot springs, but you can feel the power of the source. This is a very satisfying hot spring! I would like to join again♪

A very historical hot spring hotel. Although the facilities are relatively simple, it is the purest hot spring original hot spring.

This was my second stay at this hotel, and my revenge in Hakodate. I had a delicious breakfast. I had piping hot miso soup and refilled the rice four times! Last time, breakfast and dinner were included, but this time, I only had breakfast. There is a microwave and an electric kettle, so you can warm up food. Even hot sake is fine 👌 (incidentally, I had sake and squid rice for dinner). Before the sake, I went to the sink ♨️. The water was a little hot. There are eight faucets. One of them seems to be out of service. I immersed myself in the water up to my waist, sitting by the window where it was getting cold (it was too hot to reach my shoulders...), and enjoyed the bath as if it were an open-air bath.

My hometown is Hakodate. My parents' house is no longer here, so I came from Tokyo and stayed here for one night. The old rooms are still as they were, and have a lot of atmosphere, and the banquet and dining room has a high-class Japanese feel. And the meals are luxurious, even though they cost 8,000 yen per night, including dinner and breakfast! In modern times, food prices have risen sharply overall, but fish in particular have become too expensive, and I can only eat sashimi occasionally in Tokyo, so I was impressed by the freshly caught sashimi set meal. The crab miso soup was a nostalgic taste, as it was often served at the dinner table when I was a child. I went to the hot spring source five times in one night (I go to hot spring inns at least five times per night, and I get my money's worth every time), and my chronic sinusitis was alleviated.

I was satisfied with the food! But the changing room was covered in hair and it was honestly the worst! I have stayed at many inns in the past, but the amount of hair in the changing room was abnormal. The changing room was completely covered in foot mats, but because the mats were a light blue color, the hair was very noticeable and covered in hair... If it had been on the floor and there was a Swiffer or something, I could have cleaned it up, but since it was a mat I couldn't do that... It was so disgusting that I couldn't relax at all. But there was a wide variety of food and I was satisfied! If only the baths were a little cleaner I would like to use them again...

I stayed here with my 90-year-old mother-in-law. The food was fresh and delicious. And above all, I am grateful for the consideration and care shown to my mother-in-law with a smile. The bath was also at a good temperature, so I was able to relax and unwind after a long time in the tub. Thank you 😊 I brought it and my work got done. I would like to come again.

We stayed with my family. We added another person later, but they were able to accommodate us at the same price. The building itself is old and there is no open-air bath. The noise from the bathroom vent fan and air conditioner in the room was loud, so it may be a little annoying. We had a multi-course meal plan. The food did not come out in order, but it was not a typical buffet, so we ate slowly and very deliciously. The breakfast was also delicious, but the coffee was a little weak, which was disappointing. It was nice to be able to relax normally with a cheap plan, even though it was a three-day weekend.

The food was excellent. The roast beef, abalone, and crab sashimi were all delicious. The bath was very hot, but I managed to endure it. But it left my skin silky smooth. The room was spacious, with four people staying there, and the futons were lined up in a row. The building is old, and there is no sauna, but it is a traditional hot spring inn, and it's nice to be able to relax in an inn like this once in a while... I'd like to stay here again because the food is delicious. The people at the inn were also very kind.

The overall relaxed atmosphere is nice. I used this place for meals and the hot springs about 40 years ago. What struck me most was that the building is still exactly as it was then.

Great for a traditional ryokan experience. It's not big, but it's clean and well-organized. The price is reasonable compared to other ryokans, including breakfast and dinner kaiseki. A Korean employee, Mr. Yoon Jeong, worked and kindly guided me. The Japanese manager can speak English. The bathroom is not big, but it is broken.

This is my third time staying here on a visit to my parents' house. I'm from Hakodate, and my parents' house is nearby, but Daikokuya is comfortable, and I like the quality and temperature of the hot spring water. Hakodate's hot springs are known for being hot, but some are too hot to enter. This one may feel hot for a moment, but once you enter, the temperature gradually feels just right. So I splash in all at once lol. I heard that my father at home also stayed here late at night when he lost his keys and couldn't get into his house lol. The breakfast is also plentiful, so I'm satisfied. I'll stop by again. Thank you!
