I've had the pleasure of staying at several high-end hotels, including the Hakone Gora Byakudan. Without a doubt, Byakudan surpasses its competitors in every aspect. The service, facilities, and genuine care for guests are exceptional. I only wish I could have extended my stay. The room was flawlessly clean, and the bed provided a truly restful night's sleep. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, readily available to assist with any needs. The hotel's location is convenient, offering easy access to local attractions. Additionally, the complimentary car service to nearby destinations such as art museums and the cable station was a thoughtful touch. The Japanese dinner and breakfast were beyond delicious, featuring a diverse array of options. The snacks and wine bar were equally impressive. I particularly enjoyed the massage chair and the delightful ice-cream selection. I wholeheartedly recommend the Hakone Gora Byakudan to anyone visiting the area

We stayed at Byakudan and loved it. The staff were very kind and high quality of service. From the moment we walked in, we were attended to in great detail and provided excellent service and amenities. We stayed in the Jin Suite and it was very spacious, comfortable, clean and relaxing. The furnishings were a nice blend of Japanese and Western. The open air private onsen was large and private. Every dish in the Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were delicious. We will definitely come back to stay at Byakudan in Hakone Gora again!

Private onsen on the room and you can have your own dinning area were super nice. You can enjoy all the amenities in the hotel. Highly recommended for couples and families who want to spend time together and do nothing because the atmosphere there was so relaxed. Friendly staffs and they even drove us to the nearest station.

The best hotel which i have ever tried, food is so so so good , service is excellent, looking forward to come again soon !

Everything is perfect. Nice and cosy. Recommend to stay 2 nights if you want to do a day trip around the area.

Very nice and quiet environment for complete relaxation! Great service and can enjoy free coffee & tea/wine/snacks. It's better to stay 2 nights or up.

It's very close to the Owakudani scenic spot, and it takes more than ten minutes to drive. The hotel is not big. If you really like it, you must book it early. It is more suitable for families. I recommend a room with a private bath. You don't have to share. You can get it directly in the room. It is the most convenient. Generally, there are only a few such private baths. They are very tight. If you act early, the price can be better. If you book his place, you must book breakfast and dinner together. At night, soak in the hot springs and eat a two-hour kaiseki meal. After eating, go back to the room. If you order dinner, you must arrive before six o'clock. His place is the last meal at half past six. If you don't have it, you can't have it. After all, it takes two hours to eat. It's comfortable. The breakfast is a set meal, but it is super rich. There are Japanese and Western options. Bring your children to choose Western for your children. I recommend Japanese. Since you are here, you must try this richer one. The private bath room you stay in can accommodate up to four people. It is more suitable for families and partners! All drinks in the room are free🆓Make it as you like

The hotel is small but exquisite, and all aspects are good. It's a pity that Ctrip didn't book a room on the first floor facing the outside, otherwise the view would be better. The service is warm, especially the young lady Gao Ye Zaoji, who seriously learned Chinese to communicate with us, and the children especially liked it!!!

A very cozy hotel with only 16 rooms. There are private hot springs in the rooms and a public hot spring pool on B1, one indoor and one outdoor, but they are not very big. The hotel includes breakfast and dinner. The taste and service are very good. Japan has really made catering into an art. I can't bear to eat. The hotel lobby will provide free drinks and snacks before 11pm, and pop candy 😂 can also be taken from the refrigerator in the room. The service is very good.

Very good! Green tea and cherry blossom cakes are very tasty and beautiful! The ingredients for breakfast and dinner are fresh. Both private and public soups are very good! The fireplace in the lobby is very warm.

The room is small, the two beds are not big, and it is very crowded for three people. Apart from this, everything else is good.
