Great place to stay in tranquil beautiful surroundings and if you're lucky a view of Mt Fuji. Was easy to get to (bus J from Odawara station (expected 50 minutes but took over an hour due to traffic jams near ropeway late morning time).. Short easy 5 minute walk from bus stop to hotel (ignore other reviews). We had a Japanese style room for two. Plenty of space and great view of Fuji from the room. The bathrooms are clean and perfectly fine but a bit dated. However not a problem. The onsen experience felt very traditional and really enjoyed it. I'm vegetarian and there were quite a few options in the buffet (breakfast and dinner) which was appreciated . When we left we used the great hotel shuttle to drop us at Minami Onsenso where we picked up the T bus to take us back to Odawara train station (about 50 minutes around 10am). The staff at hotel were super helpful and overall it was a great, relaxing stay.

It seems summer is the off-season for this hotel, as it wasn't crowded at all, and the hot springs were pleasantly quiet. It made for a truly relaxing and peaceful getaway. Highly recommended! The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the cable car station, making access to Owakudani incredibly convenient. From our room, we could even see Mount Fuji in the morning 🗻.

Everything was lovely. The weather was lousy so we stayed mostly at the hotel onsen, and was incredibly happy with the quality of the onsens. Dinner was a buffet with some interesting options. Breakfast was similar to other hotels, but more variety. Loved the 300m walking trail between the hotel and the ropeway station. It was so quick and easy to take the ropeway up and down. It rained while we stayed so no Fuji views but I imagine they’d be lovely from the garden on a good day. Bathrooms are small but functional. We used the onsen so much we never needed the shower in our room. A cute gift shop and cafe on the ground floor. Self-service coffee machine in the lobby. Only reason we don’t give 5/5 rating is there was only 1 pillow each. We possibly could have asked for another, but only stayed 1 night and it was late before we realised. Beds were firm, but I liked it. The rooms are huge by what we’ve encountered in other Japanese hotels.

Comfortable stay with required amenities available. Quiet environment with plenty of surrounding greenery. Indoor and outdoor Onsen facilities were good. Buffet breakfast and dinners with good spread were provided. Free parking available.

Nice hotel with many rooms and secluded at the top of the hill near to ubako station. Hotel is in need of a makeover.  Nice onsen but no view of Mt Fuji due to foggy weather. Big carpark for self drivers. Buffet breakfast and dinner is average but lots of variety. Room is big and clean but found moldy under sink. Overall, good stay!

The buffet breakfast and dinner offered a fantastic selection, which was very enjoyable. You can enjoy stunning views of Mount Fuji from both the onsen (hot spring baths) and the garden. This hotel truly offers great value for money. I had a wonderful experience and absolutely loved it.

Wow! This place was fantastic and the view was incredible. We stayed in a traditional Japanese room and even got a glimpse of Fuji from our room! The service was excellent and the hot spring was incredibly clean and scenic. The food was amazing, especially for sashimi lovers. Would definitely go again.

The buffet has a wide variety of dishes to choose, the food were delicious.. The room is clean and the hotel itself as well.. The front desk and staff were accomodating.. My friends and I were satisfied 👍

My stay was decent. It was off-peak season, so it wasn't crowded. However, service was minimal, and no complimentary bottled water was provided.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel with friends in late Nov for 3 nights. Reckoned we were upgraded to a Japanese room facing Mt. Fuji.. just a shame it wasn't snow capped. The room slightly dated but comes with all the amenities. The buffet breakfast & dinner were good & quality, quite a spread as well. The Onsen with an outdoor section was good as well.

Amazing hotel. Convenient location. Stunning view from room faced to mountains. Sparkling clean. Really comfortable futons. Traditional styled room is amazing experience. Hot springs are clean and pleasant. Well organized space. Water is about 42°C, really comfortable. Nice yucatas. The breakfast and dinner was excellent. Wide selection of dishes and delicacies. Can recommend! :)

The hotel has a outdoor onsen and a well-equipped bath. Dinner was fair. Just a five minute drive up to Owakudani, very convenient.

We loved it here! I booked a room (Japanese style room for 5 people) for the two of us since this matched my budget best that had onsen access (200$ for the night including dinner and breakfast for two people). The traditional room was right above the garden and the futons were SO comfy, definitely an experience I will never forget! The breakfast and dinner buffet were both great! The have yakatas for borrow on the floors and in the rooms with sandals which was super fun, we wore them to dinner. We only spent one night but they easily held our luggage all of the checkout day. We could see Mt Fuji from the lovely garden (the tip top as most is usually covered by clouds in spring). My only complaint is there is only one single washer dryer in the whole place and my clothes got soaked from the rain so I waited in line but then I realized that this would never feasibly happen so just dried the clothes on hangers and left the door open overnight so all was well… love this place so much!
