The independent hot spring in the room is very pleasant. It is hidden in a bamboo forest. I also recommend the breakfast and dinner at the hotel. If you stay, be sure to include double meals. The dishes will be changed according to the check-in date.

This ryokan in Japan stands out as the best I've ever experienced. The service is impersonal and attentive, with staff always ready to assist and ensure your comfort. Both breakfast and dinner, included in the stay, are of exceptional quality. The room cleanliness is impeccable, leaving no room for complaints.

This was hands down the best Ryokan experience and best part of Japan I had with my fiance during our two week trip in Japan. Getting to the hotel from the train station was a doozy but when we got to the hotel we were greeted by the friendliest staff. We were greeted at the entrance and they offered to help bring our luggage all the way to the lobby. At the lobby we were able to relax and enjoy a bit of sweets and tea while we checked in. The staff was kind, polite and very attentive to our needs. The room and onsen was topnotch. It was the most relaxing part of Japan after lugging our luggage from Kyoto all the way through Hakone. Dont get me started on the food. Dinner was *chef kiss* dinner was a 7 course meal and breakfast was amazing too. Literally had food coma for the night. If youre gonna book a place in Hakone I say go all out and book this Ryokan.

This was hands down the best hotel/Ryokan experience I had with my partner during our two week trip to Japan. The staff was kind, polite and vert attentive to our needs. Special recognition for Sei who was in charge of taking care of us for the 4 days. He was personable, friendly and very helpful. The food was fantastic and the room was impeccable. We cannot wait to return in the future!
