Mount View Hakone

The hotel is generally very clean and well-maintained. The room is spacious with an open view and a tranquil environment, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. Parking is very convenient for self-driving guests, and there's also a bus stop right opposite the hotel. The breakfast and dinner, both Japanese-style cuisine, are superb and definitely worth trying. The onsen is comfortable, featuring one indoor and one outdoor pool, along with two small private family pools (though they are quite small). There are also paid private baths available. Overall, it's excellent 👍

The room was spacious and the floor futon was quite comfortable to sleep on. We opted for the 45-minute private onsen, Kaguya, which cost 3000 yen. The water was a bit hot, but the tub was just right for two people to sit on the side. Breakfast was just so-so.

This hotel offers a luxurious Japanese-style stay with a dinner and breakfast plan. Both meals are high-quality Japanese cuisine, and you can also reserve a private onsen (hot spring). If you're visiting Hakone for a two-day, one-night trip, I highly recommend staying here. On your second day, you can take a bus directly to Togendai to catch the pirate ship and the Hakone Ropeway to Owakudani.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! First off, the location is incredibly convenient. The Hakone Loop bus stop is right outside, and you can ride it freely with your Hakone Freepass. The rooms are spacious, and the Japanese-style decor, along with the traditional Japanese clothing provided by the hotel, offers a truly authentic cultural experience. Secondly, both breakfast and dinner feature traditional Japanese cuisine. The front desk staff even offers Chinese-language service, and you can book a private onsen. Both the hotel's design and the Japanese dining left a lasting impression! I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

After a long day of sightseeing, there's nothing quite like soaking in hot water while gazing at a bamboo grove – it was pure bliss! The Japanese-style dinner and breakfast were also delightful. The hotel's location is convenient, with a bus stop right outside. Bus T goes to Togendai Station, where you can transfer to the ropeway to see the sulfur geysers. From there, you can continue to Odawara Station to catch a train to Kyoto or Osaka.
