Courtyard by Marriott Hakuba

The hotel offers a shuttle service to JR Hakuba Station and Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal. We booked the shuttle and it was incredibly convenient! Thank you very much! The only minor downside was that the hotel gym didn't have any dumbbells. 😁

A very comfortable hotel with great service, a pleasant environment, and a good location.

The Hakuba Hotel prices are generally on the higher side, but this one offers pretty good value for money. It's a room over 40 square meters, perfect for a family of four, with two beds and a tatami area. You just need to lay out the tatami futon yourself. There's a free shuttle to Hakuba ski resort, though the schedule is a bit limited.

The Japanese-style room was pretty good overall. The hotel itself is quite small, but it's considered large for Hakuba. There's a hot spring bath, though it's quite basic. The only drawback is that you have to book the hotel's shuttle bus in advance, otherwise, you'll wait a very long time. Sometimes the bus is arranged by a third party, and when they're busy, they forget about guests. We waited a full hour and a half at the station before the bus finally arrived. Everything else was great; there's a free shuttle service to various attractions every day. Hakuba is truly wonderful, I just wish it were a bit cooler in the summer!

A decent Courtyard by Marriott. The room was spacious and well-equipped, even featuring a comfortable Japanese-style tatami area. The hotel's hot spring was great; it wasn't peak season, so there were very few people, which made for a really pleasant experience. The location is a bit far from the station, and the hotel only offers two complimentary shuttle services. There aren't many small restaurants near the hotel either. Staying closer to the station would definitely be more convenient.
