The Saracens Head Hotel ★★★

"A characterful old inn, Charles I visited in 1646, plenty of free parking, right in the centre of lovely Southwell. Staff are amazing, friendly and helpful and the food very good and beautifully presented. Did not try their Sunday lunch but breakfast delicious, and dined in the evening on two nights."
