Most expensive pub in Halifax. People would be crazy to visit this pub it is so expensive. I guess most people only go there once as people don't like being ripped off. There are many cheaper pubs in Halifax with good atmosphere's. Try the white horse about five to ten minutes walk up from the railway.

After being ignored for a second time at the bar, I asked the bar man to serve me next, to which he replied "Yes, I'll just serve this person first". So that was three people that I had to wait in line behind...I should have known then to just walk out. One pint of lager and a small wine cost £12.80. Go round the corner where the same round cost £5.20.

I'd read the previous reviews about the price of drinks but was meeting a group of friends so had no choice but to go. I was still surprised though that a pint and a small glass of wine was £11.65! Other people were paying over £8 for a gin and tonic. It's no wonder everyone 'nursed' their drink to make it last. For a back street dingy pub in Halifax charging these prices I'm amazed it's still open. So glad when we moved on elsewhere for a much better time.

We popped in here for a drink on Friday night before getting the train. Very expensive, cost more for 2 drinks than it did in the concert at the Piece Hall. Single vodka & tonic & mini prosecco £16.30, Yes that price is correct. Most expensive place we found on our 2 days at Halifax for a drink.

This charming pub is nestled near to the Piece Hall. I popped in for a half of their real ale. The drink was nice enough and the garden pleasant but why £2.50 for half a pint? It was a very sunny day when i visited, the interior is dark so couldn't really see what the decor was like. No food

Very good bar, relaxing atmosphere! Very Friendly bar staff! Been before , still a very good freindly welcoming place dispite me not coming in a fair while due to very busy comitments! I will deffo return! Thanks Horizon for delivsring such a great experinence once again! Would recomemd!
