The Barrington Hotel

I stayed at your hotel one night . Unfortunately, there was no hot water available during the night, which caused significant inconvenience. I understand that the issue was resolved in the morning, but I was unable to use the shower or facilities during that time. I also had difficulty to figure how to call reception, because the room has no phone list and the room phone had no indication on the buttons . After i figured out how to call reception I was advised to let the water run for 10 mins or so and I told them that I did so

The Room was clean, dated, but clean. The bed was very comfortable and coming from someone with several lifelong injuries, that's a ig deal. I actually was able to sleep decently. The food in the Hotel's restaurant was really good and the staff were friendly and efficient. My only problem was that there was a mouse that was roaming the dining area. The server apologized and tried to assure me that the hotel has pest control coming in weekly. While a good thing, it didn't give me immediate satisfaction. Used to be that a hotel would make compensation of some kind. Non was offered. But again, the food was terrific and reasonably priced given the location... but, the mice issue is a problem for me.

Got a good checked in and request amenities service is good. Staying for 5 days with my whole family. On the third day our bathroom flooded I don’t know what happened. They transfer as to a queen bed and a couch. Just accepted it as I do t want to deal with the incident overnight. Fully understand if no rooms available to accommodate us. But they did attended to our needs so far. But pretty much over all stay it was a ok. The hotel seems old but maybe preserving the looks of the hotel. Needs some upgrading.

Only issue here is the parking. You have to park too far away and hard to get back to hotel driving as mostly one way streets. Other than that all good.

Very nice hotel, excellent service. Only problem we had was room cleaning was very late in the day. Ours would not have been finished until after 5. We asked and they did do it earlier .other than that is was an  excellent stay.

Bit dated but the price and location couldn’t be beat. The staff are friendly and everything was clean. The only thing I didn’t like was the price of parking (over $50 for two nights) and the long walk to get to the parking garage
