Courtyard Gainesville GA ★★★
"Wonderful location. We could walk to all our favourite breakfast spots and also stroll around the historic square . We are Brits so we take every opportunity to walk and this Hotel is in a safe area for walking around. The parking under the Hotel is so convenient that we did not mind paying $15.00 per night as it was worth it. Marriott Courtyard is a real benefit to the City of Gainsville which is undergoing a complete renaissance. Really enjoyed our 4 night stay and will return. "
HomeTowne Studios Gainesville, GA ★★
Holiday Inn Express & Suites GAINESVILLE - LAKE LANIER AREA by IHG ★★★
Lanier Islands Legacy Lodge ★★★★
"I was surprised that it was quieter than I thought. The surroundings were so spacious and there were many forests that I thought the road was right. The rooms were well organized and the bed mattress was not too muddy, so I didn't hurt my back even if I lay down for a long time. During the day, I walked along the lakeside promenade. The calm waves shook according to the sound of my feet, and I could only hear the sound of boats passing by from afar. At sunset, I sat on a bench and watched the sunset, and I felt that the fatigue of the day was gone. At night, there are few lights, so the stars look pretty clear. Overall, it was close to 'comfort'. It was good to stay quietly alone or with family without being noisy and recharge. When you want to get out of the city and stop for a while, there are few places like this."
The Guest Lodge Gainesville ★★
"The front desk is very nice and helpful! We have stayed here before and enjoyed it just the same. One thing that was different was the last room had vinyl flooring, and this one had carpet. The carpet had a musty smell, so we went to Dollar Tree and picked up some air freshener."
Motel 6 Gainesville, GA ★★
"Great service. No waiting around when getting the room"
Fairfield Inn & Suites Gainesville ★★★
"This hotel is very old. I arrived at 11 PM, and they told me the single room I booked was unavailable. I showed them my booking confirmation, and the front desk said it was a system issue. They spent a long time on the phone but couldn't resolve it, so I didn't get to check in until almost midnight. I won't be staying here again."
Hampton Inn Gainesville ★★
TownePlace Suites by Marriott Gainesville ★★★
"What can I say... Barbara at the front desk is amazing!!! Friendly is an understatement for her. There aren't many hotels that have friendly front desk staff, but this hotel has one of the friendliest I have ever encountered. She should be an ambassador for the company showing others how guests should be treated when they come in. GREAT JOB BARBARA!!!"

"In all my years of travel, this is the WORST hotel I've ever stayed in. The room was smelly and dirty, the bed linens were dirty, and the towels were a mess. The whole room looked like a maintenance nightmare. The only positive thing I can say is that the room was quiet."
