Munich Airport
It's a basic, overnight airport hotel but the 2 members of staff on duty on the evening of 27 October dealt quickly, efficiently and politely with the influx of stranded Lufthansa passengers. Rooms are very comfortable, quiet and surprisingly large and quirky. It's not a destination hotel obviously but serves its purpose well.

Other than the access from the airport, I was very satisfied! It would be great if there was a shared shuttle bus for the surrounding hotels. The hotel and rooms were very clean. The breakfast was also very varied and enjoyable. There is also a very good restaurant right in front of the hotel.

Munich Airport
We were a large group of Americans stranded at the end of a student exchange program and were delayed home by a week due to a freak snowstorm in Munich. Every individual at the Soller Business Hotel went out of their way to be helpful, kind and accommodating. Our first night we were stranded at an adjacent hotel and it was a horrible experience. When our second night sent us here we were so weary and frazzled, but even at 1 in the morning we were greeted by S, compassionate and lovely. Then we walked into our beautiful rooms and felt a little more calm. Throughout the week we made friends with the manager, the awesome desk staff, servers and the gentlemen manning the bar. Being stranded is not an experience I wish to repeat, but this hotel and its superstar staff made everything a lot better.

Both of our rooms were clean and large. We got stuck in the elevator when we arrived... after calling the front desk, a contact person from the hotel appeared very quickly. In the meantime, however, the elevator was working again and we got away with a shock. Due to Corona there was no breakfast, only snacks from a vending machine;. Check in and out run without staff, but is very easy and practical.

Good location close to airport. Welcome was pleasant on reception and room was very clean and modern. Reception loaned my a phone charger and was very grateful. Very happy so far. I had travelled for most of the day and was very hungry. When I requested food I was told kitchen was now closed. I asked if they could accommodate me with anything, sandwich or a bowl of soup as I had not eaten for 7 hours. I was told crisps and chocolate. I asked what time did the kitchen close, 10pm... the time was now 10.02. How disappointed was I that no effort to offer me anything under the circumstances or even attempt to speak with anyone. It was a case of closed and tough. i asked to speak to a manager and was told we didn't have one on until the morning. As a diamond member I have shown my loyalty to Hilton but this sheer lack of care and customer service was a big disappointment. I asked why she could do nothing and she said they had a big group in.. I see a table of 10, I do not constitute this as a big group and if a restaurant cannot cope with 10 people, they shouldn't be running a restaurant. Not often I get around to writing a review but I feel very strong about the lousy attempt to try and help a customer who by the way pays your wages.

Munich Airport
I wanted a comfortable hotel for one night, as close as possible to Munich Airport for an early morning flight. This did fit the bill for my needs. It's a bit quirky - not much to look at from the outside and in the middle of a business park, and there is nothing nearby - but the room was clean, comfortable and very quiet, the shower and AC worked very well, and the airport shuttle got me to the airport when I needed to be there. The hotel has pizza available, and you can purchase wine and beer from a machine (not sure I've ever done that before.) So it provided what I needed for one night, because I did not have a car. I'm not sure I'd stay here again though, unless I had a car. It's just a bit too far from the town of Halbergmoos to take advantage of any restaurants, etc. I had thought of walking back to the town for dinner, but I was tired and it did not feel safe. Also, the bus driver of the bus that was supposed to get me there from the Halbergmoos train station, did not know of the stop I was supposed to use, so I ended up having to pay a taxi to get to the hotel. Next time I'll just stay at one of the hotels that the bus DID stop at. But if you have a car and are looking for a clean basic hotel, it's just fine.
