David and Kelly were very accommodating for our late arrival to the Gariwerd Motel. It was a pleasure meeting them the next morning. They were friendly and informative and make for a great team in running the motel. The Geriwerd Motel is in a great location: close proximity to hiking and sightseeing in the Grampians, and a short distance from the town. It’s true about the kangaroos being on the property as well as throughout Halls Gap. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the shower pressure was amazing, the WiFi was reliable, the parking was convenient, and David & Kelly were on top of their game keeping us informed about check in and checkout as well as being available if we had any needs. Thank you for making our stay a wonderful experience!

One of the cleanest country pet friendly motels we've stayed in, staff super friendly and helpful . Just for a giggle 🤭 have not had squeaky floors in our room, brought back so many memories . The setting is great, close to everything thing we needed for our flying visit

Perfect location, just a short walk to town and walking trails. Our room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts here are so helpful, giving advice on local attractions and providing a selection of games for us to use. Just outside our door there were campfire facilities and visiting kangaroos. We had such a lovely 3 night stay and look forward to returning.

Such a well maintained and clean motel! The owners are so friendly and lovely, the location of the motel is fantastic- just a short walk away from the town. We loved our stay here for our 5 year wedding anniversary and we will definitely be back (already planning our next trip) 😊

Really great accommodations, everything you need in the room/ bathroom plus a shared kitchen if you need. Kelly is very genuine, kind and helpful. Answered all of my tourist questions even with a late check in. Books, games are able to be borrowed and lots of guides on what to do.

The motel was a great location close to the town and Grampians park. Easy check in and just what we needed for facilities. Quiet rooms and everything we needed. Thank you for a great night sleep! We would highly recommend their easy checkin and accommodations.

Kelly and David were wonderful hosts. Nice sized room, comfy bed. Close to town, short walk to Chataqua hiking track to Venus Baths and beyond. Hotel, brewery and town centre just a short walk. Very peaceful, tourists are just starting to return. So pleased to see our hosts and the town stayed safe from the devastating bushfire which came so close and destroyed so much of the National Park flora and fauna.

As with previous stays, thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Gariwerd Motel Very comfortable qnd always clean Kelly and David the best hosts, friendly and helpful always The motel situated just away from the town centre /shops and the peace and quiet really only broken by the birds and they seem to know when its time to get up and time for bed Kangaroos always feeding on the mountains side of the motel morning and evening so you get a very close up view in the evening you are guarnteed to see many Kangaroos foraging on the football oval a couple of minutes away towards the town centre/shops Very peaceful tranquil spot a great base from which to enjoy the Grampians
