Ruby Lotti Hotel Hamburg by IHG

Excellent location, very close to Hamburg Port and various attractions, and also near the subway station for easy travel. We stayed in a river view room, which was a bit small. The hotel decor is unique, and the breakfast was good with a rich variety. I loved it and would stay here again on my next visit.

Unique, very fresh hotel in a former publishing house, centrally located. Many reminders of the building's former use. Great staff.

Friendly staff, good food, check-in was okay. However, the bed placement is unfortunate. The bed is so close to the wall that heavier guests can't get in from one side. This means that if you need to get up at night, you have to crawl over the other person, which is unacceptable. Furthermore, the mattress is at the end of its life, making a restful sleep impossible. The TV is impossible to operate for non-tech-savvy people. It was set with a read-aloud function, and I couldn't manage to turn it off.

Our booked room was located below the lobby and a high-traffic area. The heavy doors slammed in the evenings and throughout the night. After we complained, we were given a quiet room on the 4th floor the next day. The buffet was okay, but waiting so long for coffee was annoying.

The hotel is great, breakfast is good, the location is convenient, and the service is excellent.

I had a pleasant stay.
