Moyen pour un 4 étoiles. Bouffe médiocre, service moyen et chambres un peu vétustes.

We have just come back from a fantastic 10 nights holiday. Granted the rooms are dated, but kept very clean by the hard working house keepers. The food is hit and miss but you can always find something to eat, however it would have been nice to see the evening waiting staff in the restaurant working as a team rather than letting one waiter get over whelmed by his section, when my husband cleared our table he got told off by the two waiters doing nothing, saying it was this other waiters job. There is no I in team. The beach can rival most destinations and the pool was great. The sun beds could do with being monitored as people left them all day without being sat on. The bar staff on an evening are fantastic, cannot fault them. I had a magic glass that was never empty. Now leaving the best till last, the entertainment team can rival most places. They kept you on your toes, they interacted with you, to perfection. The evening shows were brilliant, and made you laugh. Rio kept his team ship shaped. Zan(Roman Reigns) was fantastic, Mo ( I don’t care) was interesting, I did aqua areobics with Fabio, but the biggest shout out to Tibo and Lou Lou who bought a smile to everyone’s faces. Thank you lads for brilliant time, we hope to see you again.

Really loved this hotel. It's isn't flash but with amazing staff and great atmosphere is just brilliant. We went in mid November and the weather was fabulous . The beach is gorgeous and spent alot of time there. Loved the Expresso Martinis which I was really impressed as not many Arab countries are good with cocktails. Did a couple of excursions to the Souk and a fabulous spa day booked with GetMyGuide. Its worth getting a sea view room if you can.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, its a hotel full of character. The food is good and plentiful and the staff are very friendly and helpful, always smiling. The animation team were great and worked really hard. The rooms are good, lots of space, well airconditioned. The gardens around the hotel were lovely and so well kept by the gardening team, these ran down to a lovely, wide stretch of beach. The highlight for us was the stables. with a good exercise menage. The horses are Arabs, very well cared for by the team led by Imad Mansori, who was great. We did several early morning or evening rides along the beach at a pace to suit our level, so we did gallop, but the horses were responsive so only went if you wanted them to. My daughter also went swimming with her horse which will be a lifetime memory for her! The horses were such a bonus to the holiday and would make us come back to the Oranger's Resort, they are such a point of difference! There was a lot of other stuff to do, two lovely tennis courts ( you do need to get better racquets) two petanque pistes, archery was great fun too and there was a lot else beside. Its not a five star, ultra modern, characterless hotel where every one just sleeps, this place ouzes charachter and I strongly recommend it as a great introduction to Tunisia.

The genuine warmth of the staff here makes every visit special. The view from the sea-view rooms encompasses the entire bay, from sunrise to sunset. Palm trees whisper, and the soft waves break on the clean sands. The hotel was not busy, but this only added to the peaceful retreat experience. The exceptional entertainment staff were always on hand to play table tennis, darts, and other games. As a vegetarian, there were always options, and the lunchtime chefs were happy to prepare meals specially for me.

Ive always loved this hotel. It usually ticks all the boxes. This time was different or maybe ive just had enough. The food staff, entertainment ambience were fine I suppose but as a solo traveller this is not the best hotel to visit. I found that the attention is focused on groups and couples maily German. I noticed this before. I didnt even get a good morning from the animation team. I never before let this bother me but this time it did as i saw others like me getting the same treatment. They obviously assumed I wasn't intested in any of the sporting activities because they would just pass u by and ignore u but be welcoming to everyone else. I had to change rooms three times...third time lucky. The fridge was broken in the first room, then the TV wouldn't work in the other. The second room was noisy because of a generator outside so at 3am in the morning I had to change. The receptionist was reluctant to change me to another room at first even though they had many empty rooms. So eventually I got a room. There were no English channels and my television signal had to be fixed my a maintenance man. One of the lampshades was broken too. So the rooms ought to be thoroughly checked but theyre obviously not. The fridge ought to have been replaced in the first place. The manager kept saying we do our best to please. Anyway...because it was so chilly at night and in the morning I wanted to watch some football ⚽️ but couldn't not in my room. I had just received sad news from home a friend had passed away and as I was walking into the restaurant I was greeted by the words 'hello darling' which I found very cheeky. I couldn't enjoy my evening meal. How rude I thought. I was feeling pretty low. Normally the animation are fantastic and very polite and this was so out of order. Between the huge increases in Hotel Tax, an extra €120 and the expense of getting there I expected more. Respect at least. The food was repetitive almost every evening stewy meat and vegetable mainly. Steak then did arrive near the end of my twelve day stay and even chips which was a pleasant change. The food I thought used to be better at LO...yoghurt, icecream and fish disappeared...just fried tuna now. No tiger prawns...Generally, though the food was ok overall. Most of the staff there work very hard and were friendly. I had to avoid one obnoxious guest who had too much to drink but i suppose u get them everywhere. Otherwise the clientele there are really friendly and of good calibre. Okay you take a chance on the weather mid November so prepare for some chilly mornings and nights there. So to round off, for a solo traveller, in my personal opinion, don't get the attention that orders get. U may well feel invisible around the animation team but try pinching yourself because its really not you at all!
