Although you will receive an entry code for the front door, if you arrive early enough, you’ll be warmly greeted, shown to your room and given the details personally. If you’re interested, you can have a tour and hear a bit about the history of this beautiful structure. We were served a complimentary beverage and charcuterie board that we enjoyed in one of the lovely common rooms. Our room, like all the rooms, felt luxurious and cozy. It seemed that nothing was spared in renovation. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom very clean and roomy. Our host asked our preferences to be sure we had all we needed. Coffee, tea, water, and a refrigerator are available day or night in the breakfast room. There are books to read, games to play, and a tv in the common rooms. After inquiring about our breakfast preferences, we enjoyed our sumptuous meal as we overlooked the golf course. This was a last minute trip and it was such a pleasant surprise, we’ll be returning so the family can enjoy it, too
