I did a research of hotels in Hangzhou and my personal preference maybe a little different from others but this location is super. It’s very close by the Hangzhou Tradition Chinese Medicine Hospital, and 2 mins walk to a shopping area whereby I can buy myself duty free cosmetics/others if needed. There’s food readily available at the back lane and I highly recommend a noodle shop right behind this hotel (photo below). It is a 20 mins walk to the Wulin Night Market and from Wulin Night Market you can also walk to West Lake. As I love to walk and explore around, location is perfect. The rooms are very clean, neat, bed is also super comfortable. Mr Wan at the front desk was very patient and helpful even while he was shorthanded he still remained calm and handled each situation with professionalism. The restaurant staff need 70% more service training as there were 2 females there who had attitude problems. However a little more training in mannerisms can help them change. On the whole, I will still book this hotel whenever I come to Hangzhou!

The hotel is conveniently located near Hangzhou Tower in the city center, making it easy to get around and find places to eat. It's quite close to Wulin Square Station (Exit B) on Metro Line 1, and also convenient for catching the Water Bus Line 1 from Wulin Wharf. Facilities: The air conditioning wasn't cooling very well, so the room felt a bit stuffy. Cleanliness: Very good. Ambiance: Very good. Service: Very good.

The Hangzhou Grand Hotel boasts an excellent location in the city center, making it convenient to visit West Lake. Downstairs, you'll find Intime Department Store, and Metro Line 3 is just a few minutes' walk away. The room I booked offered a superb view of the canal and the Global Center. Breakfast was also plentiful. The only minor drawback was the parking, which was a bit difficult and charged a fee. The floor attendant was very friendly, and the food delivery robot was prompt and efficient.

I frequently stay at this hotel. Its location next to China Mobile is convenient and easy to find, with good transport links. The front desk staff are warm, attentive, and very thoughtful. They even offer late-night congee with small dishes for guests arriving late, which is excellent. Sister Yun Yan from housekeeping is enthusiastic and considerate, and she keeps the rooms impeccably clean. A big shout-out to 'Ke Jian' from the front desk for upgrading my room type – he deserves praise, and Sister An should reward him! The lady in the restaurant makes fantastic waffles. It's a shame Xiao Qiao and Lucia weren't there; hopefully, I'll see them next time.
