InterContinental Hotels HANGZHOU ICC by IHG

InterContinental Hotel, affectionately known as the 'Big Golden Ball,' is stunning both inside and out. Even before check-in, the hotel called to ask about any requests. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a river view room, which was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The view from the window was absolutely beautiful, and the service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. It truly lives up to the InterContinental name! The breakfast was extensive, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We'll definitely be back if we have the chance.

Thanks to the hotel for the birthday decorations, the service was good, and the breakfast was extensive. However, the room was quite old, and the facilities weren't well-maintained. I've stayed in hotels that have been open for over a decade, and their facilities were much better kept than this one.

The service was warm, friendly, and attentive. The buffet was delicious, and we even got a free upgrade to a river view room this time. The hotel is a landmark in Hangzhou and the transportation is very convenient. Definitely worth a visit.

A 'fading beauty' of a hotel, it definitely has a very dated feel. Surprisingly, there's a CD player but no Bluetooth. The room itself is very spacious, with the toilet, bathroom, mini-bar, sink, and bedroom all laid out in a straight line, which is quite a unique design. The only downside is that the mini-bar charges extra – and breakfast didn't really have any standouts.

Centrally located with excellent transportation links. The view from the window is stunning, and there's a light show at night. The environment is clean and has a great atmosphere, with warm and attentive service. The restaurant food is beautifully presented and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the 'Big Golden Ball' experience.

The hotel staff had a great service attitude, but I strongly advise against staying here. The room had an incredibly strong musty smell, there was no window for ventilation, and the view outside was of a dilapidated wall, which was very off-putting. The blankets smelled foul, and the shower tiles were moldy, making the smell truly nauseating. Seriously, avoid this 'golden ball' hotel. I've saved a video of the room's actual condition, and I hope the hotel undergoes a thorough renovation to avoid damaging the InterContinental brand's reputation. I had booked two nights but was so scared I immediately canceled the second night.

The hotel's accessibility, especially for disabled guests, isn't great. However, other aspects like the facilities and views are decent. The breakfast was pretty good and had a good variety.

Extremely satisfied with the hotel! It's very close to MixC Mall and the Big Lotus Stadium, and there's a subway station right in front of the hotel entrance.

Excellent location with unbeatable river views and good service. The room was cleaned promptly, but the facilities are too old. The headboard was peeling, and there was a faint musty smell in the room.
