The service was very attentive; they responded quickly to any requests, like extra water, and the cleaning staff was very thorough. The pros are: It's very close to West Lake and the subway, so the location is excellent. It's super convenient for shopping, dining out, or ordering delivery. Terrible experience! The hairdryer only blew cold air, giving me a headache. The room had a moldy smell, and after sleeping there, I felt unwell. The sheets and duvet also felt damp. The only positive thing about this hotel is its location.

Located in the bustling Hubin Yintai (in77) area, the hotel is spacious, bright, and clean. We booked a windowless twin room, but they upgraded us to a room with a window, and breakfast was included! It's super convenient for getting around; just a two-minute walk from Longxiang Bridge Exit C. Public transportation is also readily available. The West Lake is only a two or three-minute walk downstairs, perfect for evening strolls.

This was my second stay at Dongpo Hotel in Hangzhou, and once again, I had a wonderful experience. The service has always been excellent. The staff are friendly, attentive, and very helpful. During this stay, Hangzhou happened to be affected by typhoon weather, so we used the hotel-arranged car service to get around and visit different places. It was extremely convenient, especially in the bad weather, and the price was also very reasonable. The breakfast was just as good as I remembered — delicious, with a nice variety of choices, and definitely something I looked forward to every morning. Overall, I really enjoyed my second stay here. The consistently good service, convenient transportation arrangements, reasonable prices, and excellent breakfast made the stay very comfortable. The hotel is very close to West Lake, literally only 50 steps away, which is so relaxing! The auntie on the 3rd floor was very kind and gave me lots of water every day. 👍🏻🤟🏻 The uncle on the ground floor was also great and helped me make ice cubes 🧊😂. Even though the outside of the building looks a bit old, the room inside is clean and there's no smoke smell. I will definitely be back when I come to Hangzhou again!

Downstairs, you have the In77 commercial complex, and right across the street are the main branches of Zhi Wei Guan and Cai Zhi Zhai, making it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and buying local specialties. Just a short walk from the hotel entrance is the West Lake boat pier, and there's a small market along the lake, perfect for a stroll and some shopping after dinner. There are also plenty of other shopping and dining options nearby. Longxiang Bridge subway station is close by, and bus access is also very convenient for getting to places like Lingyin Temple, Drum Tower, and Hefang Street.
