Ebo Hotel (Hangzhou Linping)

I stayed here again, and once again, it was a fantastic experience! They actually upgraded my room for free to one with a bathtub, which made me incredibly happy! The front desk lady was so lovely! I originally planned to stay for two days, but then Typhoon Dolphin hit, and I couldn't go anywhere. I didn't want to risk taking a high-speed train during a typhoon, fearing cancellations or subway closures, so I extended my stay twice, totaling five nights. I also visited the Jiangnan Water Town Museum. To be honest, Linping's historical depth isn't quite on par with Shaoxing; it was merely a borderland between the ancient Wu and Yue states. The Jiangnan Water Town Museum itself is very grand and beautiful, but the exhibits aren't very extensive. I couldn't hike Linping Mountain either due to the rain and typhoon. Since the attractions were uninteresting and it was typhoon season, staying at the hotel became the most delightful part of my trip. I felt like a young lady from a TV drama, soaking in rose petal baths, listening to music, and enjoying the view every day. My skin even became smooth and soft! The hotel provides bath salts and disposable bathtub liners, so you don't need to buy them. Just bring a swimsuit because you can pull the curtain in the bathtub room to enjoy the city night view. The bathtub itself was clean, but I still scrubbed it with shower gel and disinfected the drain and shower hose with alcohol. My best friend said the bathtub looked brand new. However, the bathtub room doesn't have a symmetrical speaker setup. To ensure you can hear in the tub, there's one speaker by the bed and one above the bathtub. The sweet spot for balanced stereo sound is actually by the bathroom door. If you're looking for true stereo sound, you'll need to book a room with left and right balanced speakers. When the weather is cooler and there's no typhoon, I'd love to come back and hike Linping Mountain again; it's a gentle mountain and not very high.

The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and hot water was consistently available 24/7. The room was bright and sunny, and the mattress was just right – I slept like a baby. The common areas were tidy and quiet. The complimentary tea and toiletries were of good quality. This place definitely exceeded my expectations for value for money. It's my top choice for business trips or vacations, and I'll definitely book here again next time I'm in town!

The butler service was thoughtful and thorough, very polite and professional! Food delivery robots brought my orders up, which was safe and convenient. Definitely my top choice for business trips. The environment is great, and the service is excellent. It's right opposite the stadium, so the atmosphere is good too. I even got to enjoy a bath.

The environment and restaurant were really great. My only minor gripes were the lack of power outlets – the one by the sink wasn't usable – and the speaker that needed to be turned off every time I entered the room. Other than that, everything else was fantastic.
