Our room, although a little dated, was clean and comfortable. I do prefer a firm bed and this was on the soft side. Make sure to bring a USB plug as there were no usb sockets in our room. Also, for a room with a street view rather than a residential building, ask for an odd numbered room. Breakfast selection was great and varied.

It's near the main train station, and not far from the lake, but very disappointed, this is NOT a 5 star hotel. Room was ok but no soap or toothbrush, pillows too thin and soft, and the gym/pool was in a smelly basement. Staff was tedious and slow at check in. Also the top floor restaurant -- nice view -- but the food was bad and they didn't have half the things on menu.

Inside the hotel is the Imperial Garden of the Song Dynasty. History is around you and it is so beautiful. Hygiene: Hygiene is very good and very clean. Facilities: The facilities are complete and considerate, the hotel supplies are of good quality, and the bedding is very comfortable.

Quiet environment. Out is prosperous, in is quiet. Nearby is the Drum Tower and the Royal Street of the Southern Song Dynasty. The rooms are clean and elegantly decorated, which I like very much. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the induction toilet is very good. Of course there are also bad feelings. After checking in, we took a trolley with us. The room is on the second floor without a lift. The waiter who took us to our room showed no sign of helping us with our luggage. This may be because most homestays lack due service awareness. In addition, the breakfast provided by the cafe downstairs is a bit too simple. Excellent location, 3 min walk to Hefang Street. Barely any facilities though. Rooms were clean enough, but there is lingering smoke smell from the exhaust fans in the toilet. Shower was good. Annoying thing was that every time you walk into the room and insert your keycard, the TV switches on and plays really loud music which we had to turn off every time. Great check in and check out times though :) Not many places to get on a Didi / taxi, since there isn't a driveway, so you need to be fast when ordering a taxi.

I checked in during the rice special forces tour on the weekend ~ The location is very good, the house seems to be a historically protected building, and I stayed in an inner room on the first floor, which was very quiet. The layout of the house is very warm, the landlord is very good, always reply in seconds! The location of the room is particularly good. On the first day, I rode to the West Lake Qianwangxuan Pier in 8 minutes and took a boat to visit the West Lake. The next day, walk 10 meters downstairs to the Southern Song Dynasty Imperial Street. You can go directly to Hefang Street. There are a lot of delicious food here. In the morning, Xinfeng snacks and Xiaolongbao are eaten. Then walk along this street for more than 20 minutes to Chenghuang Pavilion, overlooking the entire West Lake, and there are not many people! After returning, I continued to eat crab yellow noodles and Jiujiali Dongpo meat. The taste was very good, no thunder, delicious and not expensive.

The staff is very friendly and went to the extra mile to explain to me how to use the logistic services. The room is spacious and clean. The hotel is located along the Nan Song Yu Street where has many shops for food and gifts. The hotel also provide free mineral water. The only setback is the wifi service which require to have a local phone number for verification code. Those without a local number will not be able to connect to wifi. However, the staff is able to assist by using their hotel phone number to activate the wifi as an alternative. Overall, excellent service, location and cleanliness. We will definitely wanna stay here again if we come to Hangzhou again.

Breakfast selection is good with varities of foods like egg fried rice, chicken sausage, ham, beef, eggs, salted eggs, cereal, warm soy milk, milk, bread, butter and strawberries jam. Noodles, congee, fruits, croissant, cupcakes, corn, cookies. There are 2 robots helping to deliver things inside the hotel. If you order food, the robot will send the food to your room. There are also snacks you can buy at the ground floor. For muslim, this hotel located infront of a mosque, there is a Halal restaurant near to the hotel. More halal restaurant across the road near to exit A og Ding’an metro station. I came during Christmas, the hotel give me present for Christmas, when I check out they give me souvenir to me also. Everyday, I was provided with 2 bottles of water and change new set of towel. The water heater, the heater function very well during winter. Im a happy guy during the visit.

We stayed for one night and booked because the location is just perfect! We enjoyed our time and night exploring the pedestrian area and loved it. The service was great and everyone was friendlier and helpful, would recommend. However, the hostel facilities are a bit outdated, specially in the room. We had only a one person cover for a bed of two what made the night a bit cold for us and there was a less pleasant smell always coming from the attached bathroom that we couldn’t get rid of , but overall a good quality/ price stay.
