SSAW Boutique Hotels in Hangzhou

This is an excellent hotel when visiting Xixi wetlands area. Breakfast is mostly Chinese buffet but does include Western cereal, coffee and toast. There are no knives and forks except for the kiddies set, which works for speaking butter. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the head manager. The rooms have a great view and third floor rooms have a balcony. This is a wonderful place to sit and listening to the birds.

After comparing many hotels, I finally settled on Hangzhou Jianggan Atour Hotel, and it truly exceeded my expectations! The room had a lovely Chinese-style decor and was very spacious. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. Its location is super convenient, close to both the subway station and the riverside. Plus, the service was excellent. Highly recommend!

This hotel was quite nice. The rooms were large and spacious, with plenty of room to move around. The hotel breakfast had a good variety of choices. Since I was driving, I couldn't find the parking lot after arriving at the hotel. I called the front desk for help and was told to navigate to ”Junting Hotel Parking Lot.” After exiting the parking lot, I could simply scan a QR code at the front desk. The receptionist, Xiao Yao, was very helpful and patiently answered all my questions. Check-in and check-out were both very smooth. The location was good. Wanhua Plaza was just 300-400 meters away, offering shopping and dining options. It was also convenient for getting around, being close to Yijin Street, the Wuyue King's Mausoleum, the museum, and Qingshan Lake. Overall, I had a very good stay.

The hotel's location is great, just a few minutes from Hangzhou East Station. There are all sorts of shops downstairs, making it very convenient for a quick bite. The service was enthusiastic, and they processed my invoice quickly. The room wasn't huge, but the facilities were up to standard. My only minor complaint is that the complimentary toiletries didn't include a small cosmetic kit with cotton swabs, which was a bit inconvenient. It would be even better if the toilet were a smart toilet. Breakfast was a bit simple, but they also offered a quick lunch. This was quite practical for us business travelers who need to eat and then rush to catch a train.

Fantastic! The rooms were great, spacious and bright, exceeding my expectations. The service was excellent too; the staff at the front desk were so warm and attentive. On the morning of the 20th, we asked about early check-in and if our two rooms could be close together. The staff on duty immediately followed up, upgraded our rooms, arranged them on the same floor, and even gave out little gift bags to the kids. Everyone we encountered during our stay was polite and friendly. We had a really great experience. This will be our top choice next time we're in Hangzhou, and I'll definitely recommend it to family and friends!

I'd like to praise the cleanliness the most. The room felt incredibly fresh the moment I entered. Every day after a trip, it was already clean and spotless, making it incredibly reassuring. Secondly, the hotel's security is very high. You need a card to enter the elevator, which made returning home at night feel incredibly safe and secure. The stay was incredibly comfortable, and the mattress and pillows were incredibly comfortable, allowing for a deep sleep. The room was also well-insulated, with minimal noise disturbances. The overall environment was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast was both varied and delicious! The hot dishes, dim sum, and porridge were all exquisitely presented, made with fresh ingredients. Eating this breakfast every morning really sets me up for the day.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the front desk staff were incredibly helpful. They upgraded our room and even provided a complimentary breakfast for our child. They were able to answer all our questions, demonstrating a strong service ethic that greatly enhanced our stay. The room's amenities were great, and we slept very comfortably. The breakfast selection was also quite extensive. This is definitely a top choice for a stay in Hangzhou's West Lake area!

The location is great, about 300 to 500 meters from the subway station and close to Alibaba Zone C. The gym has a lot of equipment, the breakfast is hearty, parking is convenient, and the sanitation and soundproofing are good. A children's breakfast was provided. The hotel has a robot delivery service, and there's a washer and dryer on the 12th floor.

This was the best hotel I stayed at during my trip to Hangzhou. The room was very new, clean, and comfortable, and the service was excellent. The hotel was very thoughtful, even providing complimentary fruit and drinks. The breakfast also had a great variety.

This was my first time staying with SSAW, and I didn’t realize there is another SSAW property located right across the roundabout. The one we booked has a much more modest and underwhelming lobby—quite a contrast to the more posh and grand-looking lobby of the hotel opposite. I chose this one mainly because the room visuals on Trip.com appeared better and more spacious compared to the other. Location wise is ok? Suitable for guests who prefers quieter neighbourhood. The stay itself was fine—nothing particularly impressive, but nothing problematic either. What stood out, however, was the lack of interaction during arrival and check-in. The male receptionist barely said anything beyond requesting our identification for the process. He didn’t bother explaining the floor or room details associated with the key card, nor did he use any proper service verbiage. It wasn’t a negative experience per se, but coming from a hospitality background myself, his lack of basic service delivery was disappointing and somewhat irritating.
