I highly recommended the hotel. The room are spacious and cozy. It very near the bus stop which can take bus 277 (which we take it from 岳王庙, when it was raining that day and no Didi available) and FengQi MRT exit B. By walking along the road, you can reach the famous 西湖music fountain and 银泰in77 shopping center. Xiyouli hotel also provided complimentary washing/drying machine. There are 2 laundry room at level 5 and 8 with 4 machine at level 5. The staff are friendly and helpful. They can even send the washed/dried clothes to your room. The buffet breakfast are delicious and with various choice, including bread, cereal, chinese cuisine. The room services are excellent as well which help us to change the towel and top up the mineral water/toiletries daily. It is shared hotel under Zhejiang Hotel which only Level 4 is Xiyouli hotel. There is a rest area at Level 4 which convenient for group of friends/family. The sound proof is good as well. It also provided kids toothbrush set which amazed my kids for family room. All room are equipped with the smart home system which you can control the room lightnings, curtains, air cond and tv through voice. Overall is a 5 star experience. The only downside is the Didi drop off point is near the junction which need to be careful where many electric motors are passing by.

I had a fantastic stay at Zety Hotel in Hangzhou. From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the modern, minimalist design and the thoughtful touches throughout the room. The space was impeccably clean and felt brand new. The bedroom was cozy and spacious, with a comfortable bed and blackout curtains that ensured a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom was a highlight — the vanity area was beautifully designed with ample lighting and storage, and the Japanese-style toilet was a pleasant luxury. Small touches like the Dyson hair dryer and high-end toiletries elevated the experience. The location was incredibly convenient, just a short 4-minute walk from Longxiangqiao Metro Station and close to many local eateries and shopping options. Despite being centrally located, the room was very quiet. For the price, this hotel offers outstanding value. I highly recommend it for both business and leisure travelers looking for a stylish and well-located stay。

UUntamedFootprintsThe hotel is located quite close to subway station, about 5-10 min walk. The two bedside table lights can’t be individually controlled. When one is switched on, the other switch on as well. It’s inconvenient when one wishes to sleep and the other wishes to read. The window (on the window panel) can’t be closed. The traffic noise can be heard constantly. The room is warm. So in order to sleep, the heater must be switched off. Then the cold seeps into the room and it becomes too cold. The highest few floors (of the hotel) are commercial offices. Hotel guests not only have to share the lift with them, but also we the hotel staff. I suspect that there aren’t any cargo or staff elevators. This is extremely inconvenient when you wish to use the elevators during office peak hours. Breakfast is on the 15th floor. The food is average but soy milk is nice. The toilet bowl is heated and auto-flush. Nice. There’s also a user-friendly control panel which works well. The shower cubicle has two floor traps. So the water flow is fast. Very good.

GGuest UserOur party of 3 adults spent 3 nights at the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort in early 12/2024.  We came to Fuchun to see the scenaries that had inspired the famous 富春山居圖 painting.  We booked 2 basic rooms (Linyin Garden View), but received free upgrades (Guizhou Lake View) at check in.  I must admit our initial feelings as we arrived was one of creeping doubt, because the Fuyang city streets we had driven through (we drove in from the Hangzhou Xihu area) were very industrial, just giant factories one after another and the immediate area outside the property was just a bunch of small suburban farm homes and shops.  Furthermore, as our car pulled up to the front lobby entrance, no one greeted us.  Not a soul was in sight.  Our driver had to poke his head inside and announce guests are here and service is needed.  From there on, however, things only got better and better.  So, yes, this was a quiet property.  There wasn’t a lot of staff standing about.  But, there was enough personnel to provide all the basic services expected.  And I found they were very friendly, quick to respond, and efficient.  During our 3.5 days here, we explored and enjoyed this beautiful hotel inside and out.  The hotel itself (the main building) was simply grand.  Its design and decor was a perfect balance of East Meets West, modernized traditional, understated elegance.  The layout was a bit of a labyrinth.  There were wings, corridors, and stairs you can go down to find restaurants, spa/gym/pool, conference rooms, sitting nooks, a small boat dock, and even an impressive collection of embroidery art on display.  Our rooms were large and airy, spotless, the ceiling was high, and the windows opened onto the lake.  The bathroom was spacious with a double sink and lots of counter space.  Beds and pillows were very comfortable, definitely in line with 5 star international standards.  Outside, there was a man-made lake with 2 groups of swans (or were they white geese?).  They crisscrossed the lake during the day and slept below our windows at night.  There was also a little children’s playground (with a pair of ducks) and what looked like a small amphitheater.  Several short paths allowed us to walk the sizable grounds.  Early one morning, we followed one across a little brook to the edge of the tea terrace.  Another morning, we strolled down a road flanked by bamboo that led to the beautiful villas that stood apart from the main hotel.  Everywhere, the atmosphere was tranquil and the views spectacular.  We ate most of our meals at the hotel since we were unfamiliar with the area and didn’t really want to go out looking (this was the end of a 2 week trip).  We tried both of the restaurants on-site (the Chinese and the Western/Fusion) and thought they were fine overall, since food/ingredients were fresh and of good quality.  Taste and craft were okay, not great but acceptable.  In truth, we were probably not too demanding at this point, as we had already gorged out during our previous stay in the HZ/Xihu area.  In summary, our family really liked the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort.  We were very comfortable during our short stay.  We really appreciated the quiet calmness of the place as well as the warm service provided by the entire staff.  We would love to return.  It was an easy car ride from the HZ city area, and it was easy to hire cars to nearby and more distant attractions.  Lastly, for those interested in the 富春山居圖, there is a replica of the painting (both parts and to scale) displayed downstairs in the spa :)

LLaodengxiongmaoI was in the 699 group, but I made a mistake. I thought I booked the Xizi Hotel, but it turned out to be the West Lake Villa. This hotel is at the northernmost part of the West Lake, a stone's throw away from Gushan. Breakfast is in Building 1, on a small hillside facing the West Lake. After breakfast in the forest, you can see the whole view of the West Lake when you climb up the back mountain. This view is worth 200 yuan. The breakfast is the best of all the five-star hotels I have been to, and it feels great value. Below the restaurant is the Constitution Exhibition Hall, where Chairman Mao lived for more than 70 days. It is the birthplace of the Constitution of the People's Republic of China. Thinking of our hundred years of struggle and finally standing up, I couldn't help crying.

AAnna in ChinaIt was my first trip to Hangzhou. I wanted to celebrate my husband’s birthday here and it was totally impromptu. What I was looking for: 1) a closer location to the West lake - to walk there, not to ride; 2) a balcony or courtyard; 3) and/or at least a beautiful view and surroundings; 4) as we love tea and really interested in Chinese tea culture, some tea plantation nearby could be a plus! Not many hotels seemed to meet my requirements and those which fit were way beyond our budget. Xunzhenshe hotel looked very pretty but their description was not very clear. Anyway, considering that I was booking our room just a day (!) before our arrival on Friday night, Xunzhenshe seemed to be my only choice with just two rooms left. To be honest, I didn’t expect much when we arrived. However, from the beginning the service was outstanding with a personal approach. At the hotel they greeted us as we were VIPs. Celia, an English-speaking lady, who contacted me after my booking, was extremely helpful. She gave us few recommendations about Hangzhou and the area nearby. She showed us the tea plantation just next to the hotel and a room where farmers were drying tea leaves - it was quite short but interesting introduction to the hotel environment. The hotel itself is owned and managed by a former architect. The building was built based on construction principles of the Song dynasty. As I understand, all ground floor units have their own courtyard. There is a parking lot, a tea room and a restaurant at the hotel. We were given a non-smoking one-bedroom apartment in a quieter part of the hotel and could enjoy our morning tea in our small but elegant courtyard. The apartment was clean with all necessary amenities. There was a kitchen and a dining room with a huge table (we didn’t use this room though). The breakfast buffet was included in the rate, however they offered mostly Chinese food (no problem for us as we love it). Our dinner and breakfast food were delicious! Also, we so much appreciate totally unexpected birthday presents to my husband. Upon arrival he found a little gift with a touching handwritten birthday message and then birthday noodles were served at the restaurant. So, it was very unique and memorable celebration! After all, I was really happy with my hotel’s choice. To conclude what we loved the most about this hotel: 1. Attentive and caring service 2. Nature and beautiful surroundings 3. Very good location: just next to the West lake park and bridges. Walkable distance to the famous night show Impression and Su Causeway. Not far away to Leifeng pagoda and Longjing and Meijiawu villages. 4. Good Chinese restaurant with a terrace just next to the tea plantation 5. Amazing tea Me and my husband had a great time in Xunzhenshe. Highly recommend it to those who love places with soul.

GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at Hangzhou Xizi Hotel. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and offers its own private scenic view of West Lake, which makes the experience even more special and serene. The service was excellent—staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The entire hotel was very clean and well-maintained, which added to the comfort of the stay. One of the highlights was the complimentary travel photography service provided by the hotel. The makeup was done beautifully, and I was impressed that each costume is cleaned after every use. The photographer was amazing—skilled, patient, and gave great guidance for poses, which made the whole experience enjoyable and memorable. (笑玩旅拍摄影师武昊,化妆师可可和伟伟老师) I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hangzhou. It’s a perfect blend of scenic beauty, quality service, and unique offerings.

The hotel and service offerings are excellent, located in a very secluded spot away from the hustle and bustle, great for relaxation and enjoying the serene and tranquil surroundings. There is a small lake in the middle of the hotel, which I understand is owned and managed by the hotel. The views are wonderful and better than going to the famed West Lake (way too touristy and crowded). I think this hotel has a lot going for it, even though it’s not a known brand. I would say some things for improvement are as follows: Must, must open a spa. AmanFayun, Banyan Tree, Anh Luh and Four Seasons all have spa’s and they’re at roughly the same price point. This wasn’t a deal breaker for me, but for some people this would put them off from booking here. Gym. This place needs an on-site gym for obsessed exercise freaks like me (and other health obsessives that want to go to an all-inclusive resort). Also, with the yummy high calorie food offerings in the restaurant, I would like to work those calories off and not worry about getting home fatter than when I left! Restaurant – Excellent service from the wonderful manager, who I forgot to ask her name and all her staff. Very good manners from all the staff, very quiet voices, barely can hear them speak amongst themselves. However there needs to be more of an international offering for people that visit from outside China (US/ Europe, India/ South East Asia/ Gulf countries, who all would probably stay here in the future). There should be another restaurant that offers international fayre, as well as the traditional Chinese restaurant, so both sets of visitors are catered for, and more choice is always good for people that stay longer than 3 days. And vegetarian/ vegan options would be very appreciated. The “Savoir resort” is not mentioned on Didi maps or on Baidu maps, and the Chinese name bears absolutely no resemblance to the English name 杭州所见 – 西溪度假酒店. Foreign people may have problems finding this location on their maps/ getting here without help (the less help that is required, the better). The two top-end rooms (6999 yuan a night and 15,000 yuan a night) cannot be booked on 携程 (Ctrip) or Trip.com. I think there should be 5 – 10 pictures on the site showing these rooms as bookable. I take a long time researching a hotel before booking, so the more information available, the better. The boat trip in the hotel is way better than the boat trip offered outside the hotel. I really enjoyed it, but I don’t think many people use it, which is a shame of a great resource. The fact this hotel has its own private lake is something that makes it stand out from the other hotels. PS , I cannot upload my videos of the boat trip inside the hotel's lake because the file is too big :'(

GGuest UserI took my kids to Hangzhou on the weekend. I saw a route online and wanted to go to Majiawu-Observation Deck-Beigaofeng-Lingyin. This hotel is very close to Majiawu and you can walk there quickly. The service is good, but the room feels average. The most speechless thing is that the dry and wet basins are independent, and the toilet and bathroom are independent. In the bathroom, there is no place to put clothes except for the shower. The clothes rack is above the toilet. There is no curtain in the shower, only some frosted stickers, which is not enough privacy. There is no clothes rack in the shower room, which is also unreasonable. It is equivalent to taking off clothes outside to take a shower. I don't know if it is just like this for my room type. The price is not low, and I recommend other fast chains.

Very Good
SStanley The Travel ManThe check in process was quite smooth. No one was in line. I arrived early and the receptionist let me have the room. Sometimes the receptionist will give us information like coffee and tea are free of charge. If you need more , we can provide it. In this case. She just handed me the key card. I wouldn’t say she was all that welcoming. She was just doing her job .  I am thankful that I have free coffee and tea. Each day new ones were provided. I was there for 4 days. The location is the best and only minutes from West Lake as well as a lively nearby shopping street to the south and a street fall of street food to the north. There is a bus stop outside that takes you around the lake . The metro station is only 10 minutes walk . It is deceiving though even though the entrance C6 is nearby less than 10 minutes away . After you entered it, you still need to walk another 8 to 10 minutes more underground.  I stayed on 7 floor I think and the view was great. The building is not enough so it is not worth paying extra for lake view because you only see a sliver of the lake . The daily cleaning is adequate. Towels were replaced, garbages disposed daily. The room is quite big with space to place my carry on luggage. It has a desk to eat. There are enough electrical sockets to charge my devices. There is a small coffee table and a sofa which I love.  There are several things that I don’t like. One : the room is bit dark. There is no ceiling lights . The lightbulbs are not bright enough. Two : No microwaves in the building. Three : No laundry room. Four : The room door slams shut. In the morning, one can hear  a lot of slamming of the door. The people didn’t slam it shut. The only way the door can be closed is to slam it so it created a lot of noise.Five : anyone can enter the building and to my floor. You don’t need a key card to reach your floor.  Six. The use of single use shampoo, bathing gel. This is not environmentally friendly. If they have a large liquid bath gel and shampoo, it would be much better.  The air conditioner has no digital temperature reading. It shares the same ventilation with the other rooms. If there are smokers in the other room, you can smell it.  The room wall is not well insulated and if anyone talked a bit louder, one can hear it easily.  The hotel is one of the most expensive hotels in my trip in China. I stayed in one near Shanghai Hongquiao metro /airport. It was cheaper, fruit was served in the afternoon and through the evening and breakfast was great. Coffee was available and the person in charge was warm and friendly. My room reservation didn’t include breakfast.  The building is quite dated(aka. a bit old ). This , being a 4 stars hotel, I did have a higher expectation .  I would give it a 3.0 to 3.5 stars at best.

NNickRZHotel room not too bad, had a problem with the TV but phoned and it got fixed quickly. Bed is comfortable. Shower is warm and powerful. Not much noise outside from other hotel guests. View outside is a city view so looked out onto Hangzhou Tower. Top floor has view of West Lake which is nice. A little disappointed to find Thai restaurant (Sawasdee) in the hotel serving Chinese food when we were really looking for a range of Thai food, so went to the buffet instead which was nice and had a good range of food, drink and desserts for dinner. Flight out was at 630am, so happy that the hotel arranged a very early wake up call, quick check out and a taxi arranged for 4am. Quite satisfied with the service.
