Howard Johnson by Wyndham Hannibal

Everything was in good condition and clean. The exterior needs some updating but didn't affect our enjoyment of our stay. Breakfast was a little late but those things happen.

The hotel was good for the price. The pool was very big and unique. The floors in the room could have used a bit more cleaning. I was stepping all over rocks and crumbs and dirt and sand and after getting out of the shower and walking to the bed, my feet were dirty and completely black on the bottom. When going to check out, no one was at the front desk to pass the info on and hadn't been for a minute I'm guessing because we just piled our card on the desk with all of the others. Overall it was a decent stay, but another run with a broom and mop is definitely needed with no carpet in the rooms.

Uninvited guest The heater in the room we were first assigned could not be regulated and the room was too hot. We were moved to another room which was better, but a mouse ran over the cabinet while we were watching TV. It left again through the gap under the entry door, which we then blocked off with a towel. A bit unsettling.

LOUD PARTY HOTEL a with no tv This is by far one of the worst places I’ve stayed loud shouting in the room next to us not like they where busy called 1 st time to the front desk at 8pm they went to the room told them to quiet down it did not stop called again at 10pm the went back to the room threatening to call the police the people just laughed and said they would call the the police the manager said she was going to but no police ever am steer clear of this dump

Our stay was good, you just need to put up a sign for Howard Johnson, we saw the Baymont sign but didn't know it was Howard Johnson.

The room was clean and adequate. The service was terrible! It took 20 minutes to find someone to check us in. We called on the phone repeatedly for survice as indicated with no response. My husband went looking for someone and 2 different people said they would call someone... finally after 20 minthe clerk came and had one excuse after another with no apologies. We got to our room which was fine. We were awakened by horrible squealing noises from the pipes as the shower was turned on in the room next to us. Thus we decided to get up and go to breakfast when it started at 6:30 and get an early start. It was just past 6:30 when we arrived at the breakfast room which was dark and there was. No breakfast. Again there was no clerk avaible. We left our keys at the front desk and went to McDonalds for breakfast.
