Overall, I had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean and the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive throughout my stay.

We got free upgrade to bigger beds and the sleep is comfortable The staff are very friendly and helps us with luggages too

This is honestly one of the most misleading hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The actual condition of the hotel was completely different from what was shown in the photos and reflected by the high ratings on Trip.com. I booked this hotel because it had a good rating on Trip.com and many guests seemed to have left positive reviews. The room was also advertised on the platform as being 30 square meters, but in reality, the room felt nowhere near that size. The actual room size was completely inconsistent with what was stated on the booking platform. As soon as I entered the hotel, I immediately felt that the place looked cheap and poorly maintained. The elevator was also extremely small and cramped. What shocked me the most was the room. The overall condition was extremely old and run-down. There were obvious signs of water damage and cracks on the walls, one of the wall sockets was even coming loose from the wall, and there was a strong musty and moldy smell in the room. The actual condition was nowhere near what was shown in the hotel’s photos. I also found several reviews on Google Maps from other guests who experienced similar problems. According to some of them, they tried to request a refund but the hotel refused. Since the location was convenient, we eventually decided to stay despite the condition of the room. If you care about cleanliness, room condition, and overall accommodation quality, I strongly recommend thinking twice before booking this hotel. Don’t rely solely on the photos, room size, and ratings shown on booking platforms. I highly recommend checking recent reviews and, especially, photos uploaded by actual guests before making a reservation.

I had space to rest, felt comfortable coming and going, and was treated kindly by the staff throughout my five nights in Hanoi. I especially appreciated the travel desk and front desk, where staff gave me useful recommendations and practical help whenever I had questions about exploring the city. The facilities were fairly modest, but suited my needs well, as I spent most of my days out in Hanoi. The location made it easy to explore different parts of the city and return to the hotel between activities. The price felt fair for the five-night stay and what was provided. Overall, I remember my stay warmly: the staff were helpful, the location worked well for me, and I had a comfortable place to return to each day. Cơ sở vật chất không quá cầu kỳ nhưng hoàn toàn phù hợp với nhu cầu của tôi, nhất là khi phần lớn thời gian trong ngày tôi đều ra ngoài khám phá thành phố. Vị trí khách sạn cũng thuận tiện để đi đến nhiều khu vực khác nhau ở Hà Nội và quay về nghỉ giữa các hoạt động. Với 5 đêm lưu trú và những gì khách sạn cung cấp, tôi thấy mức giá khá hợp lý. Nhìn chung, tôi vẫn nhớ về kỳ nghỉ ở đây với nhiều thiện cảm: nhân viên nhiệt tình, vị trí phù hợp với lịch trình của tôi, và mỗi ngày tôi đều có một nơi thoải mái để trở về nghỉ ngơi.

I had a pleasant stay at Hanoi Flora Hotel. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Hanoi Old Quarter, making it easy to explore the city’s attractions, restaurants, and cafes on foot. The staff were incredibly hospitable and welcoming. They spoke good English (I’d say around an intermediate level), which made communication smooth and hassle-free. The complimentary breakfast was also enjoyable, with a good variety to start the day. There are a few areas that could be improved. The room for four people felt much smaller than it appeared in the photos, so managing luggage was a bit challenging. The elevator had an unpleasant odor that could easily be addressed with better ventilation or air fresheners. The bathroom was also a concern—it had a noticeable smell, and the floor became quite slippery when wet, which could be a safety issue. Overall, despite these drawbacks, the hotel’s excellent location, friendly staff, and good breakfast made for a comfortable stay.
