We've made the mistake to book this hotel thinking it would be good. Here's a list of things I would have liked to know beforehand; the rooms have no view whatsoever on the lake it's just a grim building and there's no houseplants. The manager is incapable and mean to his customers, if you have the chance to spot him working at the hotel because even he clearly rather not be there, which is understandable. The room service changed our sheets but to our surprise it was dirty and there was rat **** on the pillowcase. It took 4 hours for someone to come and change it, they were being mad and infuriated of having to work and help us. The sinks and kitchen amenities are never cleaned prior to customer arrival (you can have fun doing the dishes before unpacking) neither are the air conditioners, which will make you feel like breathing in 10 years of residual dust and stink. There's a washing machine but nothing to hang your clothes, nor any detergent or bleach to use it either. Maybe this place could be good if the manager actually managed anything..? For that price you can get way better in Hanoi. Skip this place and have a safe stay.
