We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, who helped us with everything and always greeted us with a genuine smile. Their hospitality truly stood out — this was the only hotel during our 6D5N trip in Vietnam where we genuinely felt welcomed. The only downside was the bathroom design: shower water tended to flow past the toilet area toward the sink drain. However, considering the very affordable room rate, this was something I could overlook. Everything else was great. There was no damp smell in the room even though it only had small windows, and it had all the basic amenities we needed. The location was perfect — just a short walk to the lake through a small path, with plenty of cafés nearby. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. Getting a Grab was also very easy, and it took less than 10 minutes to reach the Old Quarter when there was no traffic. The hotel has both an elevator and stairs. Walkable to Tran Quoc Pagoda, around 10 mins walking distance. We would definitely come back next time, hopefully for a room with bigger windows and a lake view. They don’t provide breakfast, but the airport pick-up and drop-off service they offer is affordable and convenient. Overall, the staff’s wonderful hospitality was the key factor that made our stay enjoyable. I’m very happy with the experience and would recommend this hotel for its warmth and value.

Booked 2nights 2rooms in this hotel, what should be mentioned is the staff liem & hannah was really friendly & helpful and really impressed me. U may ask the hotel to arrange airport shuttle service which is really at a reasonable price! The first day i arrived the staff told that one of my room get free upgrade to deluxe room for first night, will move back to standard at second night. At first i was refuse the offer and ask to just remain to standard, but the staff told me tat is fully booked. Ok i understood the situation just accepted the offer but ended up the “upgraded” room arranged was at 9th floor which the lift cannot reach, u only can use lift to 8th and use stairs to 9th. And the room was quite dissapoint me, the room just big but seems old and the bathroom amenities was broken, water heater not working well, we just can use cold water to shower. The second day hannah arranged us to the room 3rd floor standard room was just fine too much. Room was clean & spacious, all was looks new and well maintained.

The service in the hotel is good, and the guys are very friendly and helpful. I booked the Seaview, but there was no Seaview, you should keep that in mind.

Enduring Demolition works noises next door everyday including weekends, starting at 7am to midnight. Hope they finish their demolition soon. Lucky me. Now that I have visited Hanoi and realised how much Vietnam has turn into a scam country with a miserable future. Its youth once was touted for their bright outlook has turned the country into one whole shitpile of rubbish. Pollution and outdated infrastructure and its uneducated and unskilled masses gives it the bad vibes. Their future is not educated in stem but western decadent gossiping and dumb café culture supposingly aligning with tourism service minded culture. Unable to think for themselves but mimicking others.

The staff were all very friendly and approachable. The location was also very convenient, being close to the city center, making it easy to go for walks and shopping, and I had a very comfortable stay.
