Last year, I encountered significant booking issues with the hotel, and regrettably, the support from the staff was not only unhelpful but also unnecessarily stiff. To compound matters, there seems to be a concerning leak of guests' information from the hotel staff. Upon sharing my experience online, I received a barrage of insults from individuals associated with booking agencies, who mysteriously possessed detailed knowledge about both me and my booking. This situation is deeply troubling and flagrantly violates the confidentiality between a hotel and its guests. Despite being reached by the current hotel's General Manager, the issues remain unresolved. Having experienced the service at numerous 5-6 star hotels, I find it incomprehensible that such a lapse in customer service and a breach of information security could occur, warranting a rating far below even a 1-star experience. My disappointment is amplified by the fact that this was not my first visit to a Melia's hotel/resort. But never again.
