Pet-friendly Hotels in Hanoi

We booked a one-bedroom apartment for a weekend trip. It’s very spacious, clean and bright. The restaurant for breakfast buffet is on the ground floor. Delicious food with one type of pho serving each day. Busy breakfast service as there’re not too many tables. The hotel is located at about 30 mins journey to Old Quarter with Grab car. The local area isn’t the best to walk around but there’s a coffee shop within 1 min walking distance serving good coffee.

My wife and I were fortunate enough to stay at the Somerset Westpoint for about 3 months in 2021, waiting for the permanent house we had found to be available for us to move in with all our furniture. We got a furnished 2-bedroom apartment on a high floor, with an amazing view overlooking West Lake. Beautiful place, modern and stylish, all the furniture and appliances were just in perfect condition. The outdoor swimming pool (probably around 25m long) is wonderful and never crowded so you can actually swim for your daily exercise if that is part of your routine. They also have a great gym and a virtual golf practice that seems to be state of the art technology (but we never used it). So the place itself is amazing, modern and charming, pristine clean, and greatly located in Tay Ho. But even more outstanding maybe is how nice everyone has been there with us during our stay. From the housekeeping to the front desk staff and the management, everyone has just been wonderful to us (and I am not saying that just because we got a totally unexpected special chocolate treat on Bastille Day – we are French…) Impossible to mention everybody here but we would like to give special mentions to the ones that we remember the name of and that we had a special relationship with: our dedicated and meticulous housekeeper, Hoang Diu, who took such good care of our home during these three months; Kylie Quynh who was able to locate for us the manufacturer of some of the furniture at Somerset that we wanted to get for ourselves, Mr Mitchell, always so nice and pleasant, and of course Miss Minna, always smiling, who made me feel at home with her great French speaking abilities and who gave us as a souvenir an orchid from her garden that is now in ours. Also, I would like to mention someone that we have never met in person but that we exchanged a lot on WhatsApp with, Miss Doan Thanh Huyen, customer representative, who helped us with the logistic of moving in and out, and who has proven herself to be an amazing incarnation of “customer satisfaction first”. We have travelled a lot, in many different countries, and I have to say that this place really stands out. Big thanks to all the team for making us feel so comfortable and wishing you all the success that you deserve!

Very good accommodation experience, very close to the beach, and there are a lot of restaurants nearby. At night, you can go to the beach, eat seafood, and drink beer🍺. When I went there, it was a stormy weather, so I didn’t swim in the rooftop pool for a while Circle, it's a pity! Go again next time!

It’s me, not them. I select all my hotel rooms based on Expedia’s VIP recommendations. By doing so, I get extra awards and points, for my Gold Status Membership. This VIP rated hotel is the first time that process failed. I’ve made twenty five booking with Expedia so far this year. I came very close to dropping them, after this stay. I was picked up, from the airport, as pre arranged, by the hotel. After being dropped off, I was asked to pay for the transport. Then, I was told there wasn’t a room available. Now, keep in mind, this was the first night of a FIVE night booking. I was then walked to their nearby sister hotel, the hotel that was also the breakfast location for my original hotel. The next day, I was placed in a room, on the second floor. There are only two rooms per floor. I’m guessing that because I arrived at 9:30 pm, my room was resold. All the other floors are priced higher. Being such a small hotel, there was no where to put me, without upgrading me. My second floor room had a small window that looked out to the hallway. It was like being back in the Peace Corps. At some point, the staff realized that my VIP discount, for airport transportation, didn’t happen. I was refunded the difference.

Golden Sun Suites is great. I booked a family room, a large 1.5-bed 1.2m, the room is on the third floor, the wet and dry separation is reasonable, big enough to have the sun shine into the room, there is coffee refrigerator water bar. What is exciting is the stack of flowers and swan towels on the welcome bed and the welcome fruit, which makes people feel happy when they step into the room. In terms of software, the service is very good. I have to admire the warm and thoughtful service of the Vietnamese sisters and gentlemen. For the check-in procedure, the waiter took the map carefully to point out the key points of the tour around us. When we left, we found a special car transfer. (From the hotel to the airport 40,000 VND fare 40 minutes). Even better, breakfast, too rich. There are over ten kinds of fresh fruits, Vietnamese coffee, yogurt, etc., of course, Western food. The hotel is only a few meters away from Hoan Kiem Lake and one hour around the lake. The two of us stayed for two days and the experience was great.

Amazing service. The people at the reception were super helpful & very friendly. The place had everything you need. They cleaned my room & provided new towels everyday. The old quarter is walkable- this location is great for people who don’t like the chaos down at the old quarter/lake Hoan Kirk part of the city.

The location is good, in the city center, not far from Lotte Shopping Center 15 minutes drive from Hoan Kiem Lake. There is Circle K downstairs, turn right when you go out and walk for 3 minutes to Pho. The hotel facilities are a bit old, especially the washing machine is difficult to use

During the epidemic period, I picked a hotel to stay during the holiday, and I was lucky to meet PentStudio. Completely relax. The kitchen equipment in the room is all available, and there is a ViaMart fresh supermarket as long as you walk for 5 minutes.

Spacious room with a huge bed. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and the location was really good next to major attractions. Being outside of Old Quarter was good to avoid the crowds and noise. The rooms were quiet, with thick curtains helping a lot with the noise. Would recommend.

In total I spent almost 3 weeks in this hotel and I loved it. Absolutely no complaints only praise. The staff at reception/front desk were so friendly, helpful and highly efficient. Spotlessly clean and everything in good working order. Very good breakfast, I ate dinner a few times and it was delicious. Great swimming pool and spa, special mention must go to Mr VIET, Ms NGA and Ms HUYEN I am visiting Hanoi again in the first half of 2023 and have already chosen my hotel, the Elegant Suites
