The century-old mansion is absolutely brimming with character, and its European architecture is simply stunning – perfect for photos! The location is superb, offering a peaceful retreat right in the heart of the city, with core attractions just outside the door. The room was spotless, and the facilities were new and complete. The humidifier significantly enhanced the comfort of our stay. The service was thoughtful and meticulous, with a warm attitude that made our check-in to check-out experience very pleasant. Everything – the environment, cleanliness, and service – gets full marks. This was definitely the most satisfying accommodation choice during my trip to Harbin!

An older hotel, but the breakfast alone makes it worth a return visit. The original, oldest elevator is still in operation. I was surprised to find steak for breakfast! It was plentiful and refined.

This hotel is full of history, right next to Central Avenue, just a few steps away from famous restaurants like Moderne Hotel and Portman's. They even have a century-old elevator! The service, especially, was top-notch. 👍

Excellent location, right next to Central Street. The staff were proactive and friendly, and the room upgrade was great value for money. The facilities were well-maintained, and the environment was clean. Both breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious. We also got to dress up and take photos, experience the hundred-year-old elevator, and received complimentary tickets to the Russian Fairy Tale Museum. Finally, we were given a souvenir. It was a fantastic start to our Harbin trip.

This hotel was surprisingly good, exceeding all expectations. The service was better than many five-star hotels. The breakfast restaurant was also excellent, with delicious food, especially the steak, which was outstanding. It definitely adds to the charm of a trip to Harbin, especially for families with kids. Riding the 1900s elevator, listening to 1900s records, and admiring over 200 famous paintings - it's absolutely worth it! Oh, and they even washed my kid's socks when cleaning the room, which totally surprised my child. I have to give it full marks; they're incredibly thoughtful. Highly recommend!

You get what you pay for. While it's pricey, the cost is justified. The lobby immediately gives off a luxurious, palatial vibe, and they even shared some of the building's history with my child. Our luggage was brought to the room for us, and the staff meticulously explained all the room's amenities. The hotel has a front and back building. We booked a king room in the front building, and it truly felt opulent, with a very spacious and comfortable bathroom. The queen rooms are in the back building, and their bathrooms are standard hotel size. The service staff are excellent, making you feel right at home. For breakfast, they even have freshly grilled steak.

The hotel's location and room decor are absolutely superb! Turn right upon exiting, and you're right on Central Street, super close to Madieer Ice Cream (bought some immediately, of course!). The rooms are designed in a Russian aristocratic style, and they even offer costume rentals – the dresses are beautiful! You can put one on and head to the lobby or the hundred-year-old elevator for some amazing photo opportunities. The lady at the front desk was fantastic at taking pictures and helped me capture so many memorable shots. The guy was also quite entertaining; he readily shared stories about the hotel's history. Both helped me with my luggage when checking in and out (a real lifesaver, as my suitcase was heavy and the hotel entrance has steps – I couldn't have managed it alone!). A big thank you to the enthusiastic front desk staff! Oh, and I was lucky enough to get a room upgrade, which was a fantastic bonus!

Great themed hotel and with an amazing location right at Zhongyang street where you can see all the amazing ice sculptures without having to walk far in the -30 Degree weather. The staff was very polite and attentive, the best thing about it is of course the dress up session with the photographer. Highly recommended for a novelty stay.

Excellent stay at a truly unique historic hotel. Cleanliness, location, service, and amenities were all outstanding. The hotel is very well maintained, with beautiful European-style interiors and a calm, elegant atmosphere. The room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. Staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The location is convenient for sightseeing in Harbin, and breakfast was fresh and enjoyable. This winter, we chose The Grand Mansion 1903 Hotel as our top pick. The doormen, front desk, housekeeping, and F&B staff were all incredibly warm and provided excellent service. The century-old Russian architecture is grand and beautiful – it really made the whole experience fantastic. Upon arrival, they even upgraded our room. The room was clean and bright, which I loved most. The overall environment and hygiene were great. We stayed for 4 nights, and the hotel is right on Central Street, making it convenient for visiting attractions and dining. I specifically went to experience this century-old mansion, the former private residence of a Russian Grand Duke from 1903, making it 122 years old now. The European-style architecture, opulent decor, personalized service, exquisite dining, and even the century-old music box and antique elevator—everything exuded a noble, aristocratic charm and elegance.
