Many of the previous reviews confirmed. We arrived late at night but were able to check in easily. The location was spectacular near many coffee shops and Russian restaurants. We even stumbled upon a nearby karaoke bar on the pedestrian street! It is near enough to walk to the Sophia Cathedral (which is seemingly closed). Ice and Snow World is far enough to need a car but close enough that it’s a quick ride. After hours of touring in the cold, the heated floors were much appreciated. The bathtub was also very nice.

It happened to be my child's birthday today, so I wanted to book a parent-child room to make him happy. The room was very large, and the decoration was great. The dolls were not cheap ones, and the quality and beauty were outstanding. I knew it was the baby's birthday, so I gave them as gifts. A fruit plate. Across the road is the riverside, where you can see the aunts and uncles performing Yangko. There are also many cruise ships going to Sun Island. It is very close to the Flood Fighting Memorial Tower. The transportation is convenient, the hotel breakfast is also good, and there are many choices for children. We were in a hurry when we left. The child left his stuffed rabbit at the hotel and called the front desk. A girl named Jingjing found it for us in time and mailed it to us immediately. The service was excellent. Let’s talk about the not-so-good part. Because the window faces the atrium, you can’t open the curtains. People on the opposite side will see that the lighting in the room mainly depends on lights, but the lights are also provided by light *****s, spotlights, table lamps, etc. Ambient lighting is the main focus. People who like bright lights may find it a bit dim and depressing. Secondly, it is recommended that when arranging rooms for guests, the hotel should try not to arrange couples near parent-child rooms. Grand Mansion 1903 Hotel 🏨 is still as good as ever. I stayed here with my children in 2019. The children liked it very much. Both the decoration and the service of the hotel are very good. Have breakfast in the hotel's century-old wine cellar. Freshly fried steak and omelettes are the specialties. They taste very good and there are many varieties of breakfast. When I came to Harbin again this year, I chose the Grand Gongguan 1903 Hotel. When I checked in, a handsome guy with a very nice attitude saw me bringing an old man and two children with him, and he even offered to give us a breakfast. The feeling of staying here this time is still very good. The waiters will meet all our needs. If I have the opportunity to come to Harbin again in the future, I will still choose Grand Gongguan 1903 Hotel.

Think this is a 4-5 stars hotel locally. The lobby is decent, not posh type. The rooms are cosy and beautiful. Kids like the kids room, toys and the sport car bed. All toiletries are provided and have kids version. Very thoughtful. Have a welcome fruits n snacks platters with high class mineral water. One thing we didn’t like about the hotel is it has a weird smell when we stepped out of the lift and walked towards our room. Like ‘salted fish’ smell. Not sure if it is from carpet or some food brought in by others. The smell was also in our room. The hotel is at a busy road junction facing Songhua River. Around there are many local eateries. We had a hard time finding suitable food for us and kids as their local food are mostly beef, lamb and duck innards and spicy. End up we took a taxi and went to a restaurant called Sheng Tian Fu, recommended by the driver. Taxi drivers not many are familiar with this hotel, and have to show them namecard. Not too difficult to get to attractions such as Harbin Polarpark, Sofia church and Zhongyang Street. More convenient to travel by taxi as these places are not exactly very near hotel and it can be cold walking a distance of 1-2km. Hotel provides decent breakfast with reasonable variety. Waitresses are friendly and proactive to chat with you and recommend you what to eat. One of them is called Xiao Liu, nice middle-age lady. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this hotel and may go back if we go to Harbin again and if the pricing of hotel is cheaper.

Come to the hotel front desk for two minutes to check in, the service attitude is particularly good, free upgrade room, super happy! The housekeeper was very enthusiastic to inform us that the room has free daily necessities that can be used for free. There are two bottles of mineral water in the room. You can also see Zhaolin Park. Any problems will be solved in time. Breakfast is delivered to the room although not eaten at the hotel. Warm and patient, really great! The room is very clean, thank you very much. Come to this hotel next time!

*Disappointed after so many good reviews…* We recently travelled to Harbin and after looking at many of the hotels and reading the reviews we decided that this was the hotel for us. However we were shocked to find the poor service and cleanliness during our stay. Location: The location of the hotel is a huge plus point as it’s very close to the central street & not too much of a distance to reach the main tourist attractions (20/30 min taxi ride). The location is also close to lots of restaurants which is very convenient. Service: This is an area which could definitely do with improvement especially the evening staff, upon checkin the staff were friendly and welcoming however when we raised issues with the hotel room they became very rude and disrespectful. When we arrived to our room we found we had no face cloths - not a big issue and one that was resolved in a timely manner. However we then had to ask for the face cloths each day after housekeeping had changed the towels which isn’t an issue in itself more of an inconvenience . However the staff at the front desk seemed to find it quite funny (staff members laughing when we mentioned our room number at the front desk) that we had several issues with our room. Amenities: The hotel has a robot delivery service for when you order food and other items from meituan which is a convenient way to get your things. The shower in the room was broken but was fixed in a timely manner. The room air con is basically just an ornament, the temperature of the room cannot be changed - it was set at 34 celsius one night - you can open a window but it will get cold quite quickly. Cleanliness: Another area with room for improvement - the hotel room is rather dusty with dust falling from the ceiling above the bed. The sink was not cleaned when we checked in. On one occasion we were given ‘fresh’ towels with make up stains on. Unfortunately we would not stay here again.

The location is very good, 3 minutes away from Central Street. Zhaolin Park is next to it It may be that I checked in earlier, and the room arranged for me is really too small. Later, I found that the room on the opposite side of the corridor was much brighter and brighter. There was noisy post and telecommunication from the construction unit nearby during the day. It was the smallest hotel I have stayed in all seasons. The service is still ok. I have to check out after a test in the afternoon. The room is also clean. The shaded room arranged for me is very small. The room is not very ventilated and keeps the window open, but the bed is next to the window. I thought about staying with the room for another day, but I booked other hotels in Central Avenue for the same price.

Location is perfect, literally meters from the main street. that's pretty much what and all you are paying for. We were in the basic room so expectations were low. I would say it satisfy the basic needs in terms of space and amenities. I mean is a decent place to sleep for the location. However, the room is really small, a bit cold, old and pretty much falling apart here and there. Bed was good, comfortable and soft. Rooms are not soundproof so expect to hear everything going around. However, we were lucky to not have many guests around. Wifi was horrible and slow. Reception was great and the staff at the entrance has been friendly and available with any requests. For the low score to service it is meant to the cleaning. Room was still dirty on the angles when we arrived. Soups were never refilled in the bathroom (not even the hand ones) and we had to ask everytime to get a refill. Feels like cleaning lady entered, put the cover on the bed back in order and left without caring much on whatever was needed to be refilled or cleaned in the room. Barely touching the bottom of the job. Anyway back again, low expectations, decent room, great location. Satisfy the basic requirements and if you get it for a low price might be worth it.

The location is excellent. It is on Central Street near the Songhua River Flood Control Memorial Tower. Nearby is the famous Lucia Russian Restaurant. When you are tired from shopping on Central Street, you can take a rest, take a nap, recharge your batteries, and then go out to continue shopping. It can be said that it is very convenient. of. The overall appearance of the hotel, lobby, and corridors all look good. However, the double bed room we booked is smaller and feels a bit unwieldy. Larger suitcases are not easy to spread out, and the bathroom is particularly difficult. If there is water leakage, after closing the bathroom door and taking a shower, there will still be a lot of water in the corridor outside the bathroom, making it easy to slip. The hotel staff are very friendly. Traveling with friends, we all felt that this hotel was a good value for money.

If you want to stay on Central Street, this hotel is a great choice. There are lots of shops and restaurants around you with in walking distance. It’s roughly 10 minutes away from the nearest train station however getting a taxi is just around the corner. The staff didn’t speak English, if any very broken yet it’s not a deal breaker, because all you have to do is hand them your passport at check-in. The room had everything you would need or expect from a highly rated hotel such as a kettle, hair dryer, tv, etc. Feel rest assured that the rooms are well insulated too. We had -32 degrees outside in the evenings and didn’t feel cold at all. The biggest let down was the quality of the bathroom. The shower head didn’t spray water very well and the shower door had to be fixed during our stay as the water sealant ***** was loose, thus water kept running on the bathroom floor. The hotel is showing its age but not chasing be away. Yet its not the newest hotel, definitely one of the best placed. One highlight was the breakfast spread. I booked my room with breakfast included and I’m glad I did. There was freshly baked goods, fresh fruits, eggs and meat, some Chinese dishes and some cereal. Glad to have been able to leave the hotel in the mornings with a full stomach.

I booked a room with a window, but the window turned out to be a wall. I told the front desk to change rooms, but they said they couldn't change rooms when the room was full. I told them that I had booked three nights and could change rooms the next day, but I insisted not to change rooms. Didn't I check out the next day? The attitude at the front desk was also very bad... I contacted Ctrip to change hotels the next day! The front desk said that only twin rooms have windows... I said that it would be fine to change to twin beds. They didn’t give me a change either🤣Because I wasted half of the next day’s trip by changing hotels, I was really angry... ugh! The location of the hotel is really good. Central Street is 100 meters away, so eating is also convenient. The room is really small and it is difficult to put suitcases.

The location is very very good as it is in the Central street of Harbin. But, there is only meeting rooom there, with no other facilities. The service is good, and the hygiene is ok. It is just because the carpet is a bit dirty and this hotel is very very old. Also, it is not 4 stars level hotel, it is more like 2.5 stars. Not only the location is good, but also there is a Russian cuisine restaurant that is delicious nearby, I recommend everyone to try that restaurant. But, there is a lot of people there, so you need to go there early otherwise the seats will be full and need to wait for a really long time. This hotel is ok if you live there for a night or two, but if you stay in this hotel for 3 nights or more, then I dont really recommend you to live in this hotel.

The location of the hotel is very good. It is next to Central Street and closer to the Flood Control Memorial Tower. However, the only downside is that because the location is so good, it is a bit difficult to take a taxi back to the hotel or from the hotel during peak hours. There is a traffic jam on the one-way street at the door. . But the hotel is one of those... with older equipment but very clean. PS: Be sure to remember that they use an electric storage water heater, and there must be more than 40 minutes between baths between two people. Don't let this happen. I'll wash it after it's done. Don't ask me why I know? A bunch of bitter tears hahaha... The room is not particularly warm, but it can be blessed with air conditioning. The hotel is right on the Songhua River, so it is very convenient for shopping and doing things. It's great! like!
