Amazing views What a wonderful stay. The views were absolutely amazing. Kitchen well equipped. We bought live lobsters just $10 a lb from Hannafords (try also the French baguette) just 12 min drive and cooked them, clams and corn all in the steamer provided. Lounge seating very comfortable. Cooks corner area has everything incl Walmart superstore. David was a wonderful host. Could not speak too highly of him. He came out late at night when I could not work something out.

Good location in Maine Communication for the rental check-in and directions was great, making the process very easy. The location on an inlet of the Atlantic was nice, too. We were able to use this as a home base to go to various places in Maine and it was nice to be on the water, which was usually very calm. We didn't see much activity on the water as far as boats and swimming but it could have been from the season in late August. The sleeper sofa was not very comfortable, the head portion either adjusted to the top was sloped down or propped up at an angle. For a short adult they had to sleep diagonal to get a level sleeping surface. For the most part the place was clean, with the exception of a dirty utensil inside the sofa bed and dirt on the floor on the mattress from being stored. Also, the coffee machine was overgrown with mold so we didn't use it.

Cute little cottage Cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. It is the perfect size for a couple and is pet friendly. Note that the bathroom is on the main floor and the bedroom is downstairs. Wasn't an issue for us, but might be for others. The deck was wonderful to sit out on in the mornings and evenings. Lots of wildlife to watch. We also sat on the dock a few times and dipped our toes in the water. Do make sure you have bug repellent if you'll be outside for any length of time. The mosquitos were brutal, but you are in the woods so it was to be expected. Bed is very comfy. Having the washer/dryer was also very convenient. Only a short drive to restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend Cook's restaurant. Atmosphere and food were phenomenal. Would definitely visit again.

Lake Shore Cottage not reccomended Best thing to say about this property was that it was clean. Otherwise, it was not acceptable. The bedroom was down a long steep flight of stairs from the small bathroom on the main floor. The mattress was extremely soft and unusable. We attempted to sleep upstairs on the pullout couch, but the frame did not allow its mattress to lie flat. We ended up purchasing an air mattress and placing it in the living room and slept there. The access to the grill was off of the main bedroom. It was done the same flight of stairs from the kitchen and living room. It would have been nice if there was a fire box for a campfire to roast hot dogs and marshmallows, but there was none. The kitchen itself was extremely small. The cable TV only had the bare minimum of channels... a search could not even find HGTV ! We ended our stay 3 days prematurely and went to a hotel.

Secluded waterfront home The home was exactly as described. Deck was large with nice furniture and feet from the water. Photos show that bathroom is upstairs and kitchen is so no surprises. Highly recommend Holbrooks at the end of Cundy Harbor Rd!! Great place to relax

Amazing anniversary getaway We spent our 19th wedding anniversary here. It was the perfect romantic getaway. The views are stunning and the location is tranquil. Just a short drive to the general store for necessities, and Uber Eats delivers. We didn’t want to leave. Would 100% stay here again.
