The lake is pretty but no beach area, full breakfast, had to ask for decaf coffee in mornings and they ran out, noise from parking lot and their family most days

Lovely room with lake view & private balcony My husband and I stayed here for a weekend and were very happy with the room and lake view. The mattress was firm and we enjoyed the private balcony. The only thing we noticed that detracted was that the wall was thin between our room and the room next door, so we could hear the other guests just a bit now and then. But it was quiet for sleeping and we really enjoyed our stay here.

This area gets absolute quiet after dark. Driving in dark, especially in rain/snow conditions, needs extra caution due to mountainous terrain. We were first time guests and arrived at 10 pm. Office/reception was closed by then. We did not have any problem getting into our room (instructions provided by phone message) but to reach the house we had to take guidance from neighbors who were luckily awake.

This is the second time we booked at this location. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Every morning we woke to the peaceful sound of loons on the lake. Accommodations were extremely clean and comfortable. Margorie is a wonderful host! We look forward to another stay!

My wife and I stayed here three nights this week. It's a lovely site right on a lake. Marjorie is a wonderful and friendly hostess and a font of local information. We had the Pike Room with a view of the lake and a small balcony with two chairs and a table, also with a lake view. The room and bathroom are large. A pair of binoculars sits on the window sill. We used it for watching the loons! They have canoes and kayaks. We enjoyed a wonderful canoe ride around the lake. I recommend it. We had stayed here before back in '19 and decided to come back. When you call about reservations ask what the breakfast protocol is. Things change with Covid. We enjoyed fine baked goods and fruit.
