Crowne Plaza HARROGATE by IHG

Lovely stay in Harrogate and the hotel was first class, very well position and only 7 minute walk into town. Rooms excellent with a great breakfast the following morning. Only gripe was paying an additional £15 for car parking, but hey ho. Would recommend the nearby RHS gardens.

Next to the convention centre. Had York minster suite no 520 great views , robes and slippers ,comfortable super king bed, fridge, nice biscuits . Did not unused the adjoining living room with dining table and chairs snd tv Water provided and kettle. Had included the lounge access and this was used rather for the coffee. Wine beer and canapés from 5-8 pm -plus pastries in am  and cool drinks  coffee tea available all day . Easy 5 min walk to restaurants

Great location, easy to park in the underground car park (paid in hotel). Easy, efficient check in (even when we asked if we could be on a lower floor). Room was very spacious, the bed was huge and very comfy! Everywhere is accessed by the lifts, we would have used the stairs a few times if we could find them! The evening meal was OK (we were dinner, B&B). The options were varied (with certain things at a supplement). The food, however, didn't seem to be a great standard. The staff however, were friendly. Breakfast was much better. P,entertainment of choice and as much as you wanted! It was quite busy but we found a table easily on both ,mornings we were there. Would stay here again and recommend to family and friends

Enjoyed our stay but they could do with more staff in the restaurant for breakfast to take orders and clear tables.  Staff all pleasant .would stay again

Hotel location central for visiting Harrogate tourist areas. Premier twin was adequate. Comfy beds had lovely cotton linen. Efficient and not too noisy aircon. Shower over bath was a surprise. Toiletries provided were lovely. Very small mugs and glasses. The receptionist was not very forthcoming in what she was doing. Very surprised to have to fill out all my details again and my friend in another another room had to provide her credit card for a room I'd paid for. There was confusion about payment and then our card did not unlock the door of the room we had been given. We were put in a quiet zone of the hotel, which was fine but we hadn't asked for. We did not eat or drink in the hotel. Efficient and reasonable parking. Lifts very busy in the morning.

The stay was nice, room and hotel very clean, and staff were extremely helpful. The only downside was that it feels a little dated, and the bathroom not very modern. The shower tap constantly dripped which kept us up all night, and the air con was not very powerful, even when on full blast. Paid extra for a higher room with a view, however, the windows have a netting over, which makes you feel like you are in a prison and spoils the view.
