Friendly staff, excellent food and comfortable room. It was the coldest day of the year but our room was toasty warm. Food, especially the steak & ale pie was delicious and really good value for money. We'll definitely be back

Outstanding accommodation, outstanding location - well away from ambient city noise, outstanding food, outstanding staff. And a mighty outstanding pint of Wainwright's too.
Been coming here fairly regularly for a few years now for our weekend breaks. Can't speak highly enough about all af the above. Well done to all of the staff that have made our stay here so wonderful, every time. Bless your kind hearts all of you. You clearly care about your work and your professionalism shines through. I think that covers it, see you in October.

Lovely hotel with personal touch; very clean in room and public spaces. Excellent food as well. Great base for visiting Yorkshire, with Fountains Abbey very close.

We had our breakfast and evening meals at the Inn, always a well organised, friendly team of staff on duty. Breakfast and evening meals delicious.
We would definitely stay here again.
