We booked in advance a hotel with a pool for our boys to swim and when we got there it had a sign on the door saying it was closed. Nothing was posted online or in ******* about that. Wouldn’t have stayed their otherwise.

Bed is kinda hard not very comfortable in king room room 224 we have stayed there twice ac unit is in need of repair or replacemed super drafty cold air was coming in under the unit and loud was scaring our grand babies when they where sleeping its close by where we live staff is amazing and breakfast is ok

Double charged and have yet to have refund they said it’s a hold but the room cost 130 and the hold was 152 they messed up

Holiday Inn Express in Horse Cave was exactly what we needed coming into Kentucky. We were looking for a one night stay in order to explore the caves in the area. It was good for a place to sleep for the night. Breakfast was ok and was offered from 6am to 9am. Plenty of hospitality. The staff was welcoming and friendly. One of our rooms had a sink handle that was about to break off. They were going to fix it, but we asked for them to do it after we left. Also, they have "hotel cats" that hangout in the front parking lot. Definitely a bonus for my kids as they were missing their cats from home.

STAY AWAY! This place is an absolute dump, room smells like wet basement, walls dirty and falling apart. STAY AT EITHER EXIT NORTH OR SOUTH of this place, avoid at all cost. $179 a night, should be $79. Do not stay here.

The customer service staff of this hotel are okay, but the room is not clean and the water in the shower is very small.
