"The location is very nice, but it was raining and blowing a gale, so we couldn't really enjoy the surroundings. The couple before us seemed to take ages to check in, but our check in was quite quick. We paid extra for a room with a view, but the view was poor (on the ground floor, directly overlooking a pathway, which people could walk past - so we had to keep the curtains closed). Room was fairly clean, but there was dust on the countertop and white powder on the back of the armchair which transferred to my jacket when I put it over the back (the jacket was a black one, for a funeral the next day). Bed was extremely comfortable and there was no noise apart from creaky floorboards from the room above - but this wasn't a major problem. There were no glasses in the bathroom, so I had to use one of the mugs for my nighttime water. We ate in the restaurant and the service was decent and the food was tasty. Premier Inn should give more options for the meal deal as we are very light eaters and would not eat all of the food offered. I wanted Guinness Zero but they didn't have any. The stay over was for a funeral the next day, so not really an occasion to enjoy yourself."
