Salt @ South West Rocks

Booked 3 nights in a great 1 bedroom Villa at Salt. Great villa with everything you need including W/M and dryer and DW. Great king bed so comfortable, well appointed kitchen with fabulous views over timber deck and outdoor dining setting looking out over the river. The Tavern is next door with nice meals. Arrived late but the guys in the kitchen cooked for us. Surf club in town has great meals and go try the ten pin bowling at the country club. We got stuck at South West Rocks as the floods hit mid NSW coast. SWR itself wasn’t flooding in town so we could get around but we couldn’t get out and no one could get in. The town soon ran out of milk and bread and the shelves were empty but most eateries were coping well. Thank goodness we were staying at Salt. The managers were amazing, Contacting us very day to make sure we were ok and if we needed anything. Will definitely be back.

Venue was excellent the only issue I had was trying to cast my phone to the tv, venue location was a bit away from the centre of town which I didn’t realise when booking but was only about 5 mins or so drive from there

Most relaxing place for a get away. Stunning scenery right on the water. Very well appointed villas. Exceptionally well keep grounds. Turn the key, unpack and then just relax…. Most deserving of 5 stars….

We have stayed at salt numerous times and as always the villas are very well presented and clean. The management are very helpful and assist with any enquiry. We have booked another week this year

What a great place to stay. From our first interaction with Salt the support was first class, and check-in / check-out is contactless and simple. The outlook from the villa deck is stunning, across the Macleay River and on to the mountains. The town centre, beaches and country club are only a short drive away and a variety of shops are close by. The villas are clean, well furnished, and appliances excellent.The wifi service was excellent. The bedroom had spacious hanging and shelving, and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen included everything one could wish for. The BBQs and dining area were the cleanest I have ever experienced in my travels. The grounds were impeccably maintained and presented. The tavern adjacent to the villas provided reasonable meals at fair prices. Although there is a road between the villas and the river, we were not affected by traffic noise into the evening. I would definitely recommend this destination to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle.

Love the spot and great view and nice villa and clean also loved the lift and our own car space and walk way and pool excellent well done
